There has been some nice additions since I was last here

I had a dream last night that Bang Zoom sent me a box of comics. Really. My wife (in the dream) thought it was "cute."
When I told her this morning she just thought it was weird.
Has anyone else ever had a similar experience?
The first time I saw photos of BZ's collection I had a similar dream that night. It has happened more than once since
I had that dream a few times, but it has been a while. Since I only remember dreams once every few weeks, they were pretty significant
I think we need to see some more GA Timely's to kickstart my dreams again (thumbs u

Wow, great X-Men collection!

Arthur Clarke won?
That is cool...he would have been 22 at the time.

Behave yourself, Tarzan!

Here is #2 (November 1938).
Norman Saunders
Date Stamps
So do you have any date stamps on double covers? That would be a quadruple treat
I don't think I've ever seen a double cover on a pulp magazine.
How about on any of your comics?

Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1
It's a key, the Pay Copy & scarce. The Suspense is just a cover.
Definitely. Scare, 1st Submariner trumps a cool cover.

I think this thread needs more Timelys

Real Life #3.
I searched for a picture of that cover and I found this instead....

Archie 1 CGC 7.0 over Adventure 47 CGC 9.6
I don't really care who owned a book (ie, pedigrees) so I will take the key issue in Archie Comics 1.

Very cool art

Someone have a 1.0-2.0 for sale so I can join this club?
Hmm, how about 0.8-1.0?

Captain America 1 CGC 8.5 over Batman 1 CGC 7.0
1st Captain America & 1st Red Skull & Higher Grade vs. 1st Joker & 1st Catwoman & Rarer in Grade. I would have to say Cap 1, though it is once again very close. The Joker is THE comic book villain, but Captain America is the essence of GA Timely's. Cap by a hair.

MMC 9 CGC 9.4 over Tec 38 CGC 9.4
1st key character (love or hate him) vs. Rarer, classic fight with a terrific cover. If rarity wasn't an issue I would take the Tec, but rarity (and consequently, value) are important so I will take the MMC 9.
Action 1 CGC 8.0 over Tec 27 CGC 8.0
If it was just Bats vs Supes, the Tec would take it easily, but it isn't. Action 1 being the first major superhero just pushes it over the top for me.

That is really interesting (and a strange piece to hang in a library). Thanks for the link

Gotta love those Kubert covers x 2

(thumbs uCondolences to the sellerThe seller picked up something pretty astounding to keep his spirits up.
Y'all mean this little old thing?
Congrats! I was watching that (and dreaming of having more comic money). Frazetta

Weird Comics #1 and Daredevil Comics #16 are similar, but not it.

For the 85th anniversary, BangZoom shared this solo shot:

Since your showing pulps, you by chance wouldn't happen to have any Weird Tales from 1923 to show
March (no1), May or Nov.? I never seen those books.
I know that BangZoom posted Weird Tales #1 (March 1923) before (thumbs u

Finally! A giant squid story with the proper proportions!
This is a pretty cool cover. It reminds me of More Fun #44.
All-Story Weekly February 1, 1919

I hope this one is ok to post. Its not really a double cover, it has 4 covers.........I guess it is a Double Double.
