  1. Hi all I’ve just updated the website with a range of different artists from Brian Bolland to Al Williamson. https://www.britcomicsart.com/newitems.asp Joseph https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetail.asp?gcat=9492
  2. Joseph from BritComicsArt.com here. I’ll be walking the floor at Heroes Con in Charlotte on Friday & Saturday and will have some artwork with me. Including some prelims I just got from Brian Bolland and other new artwork not on the website. You can message me via my CAF or the BritComicsArt.com website. I’ll have a US contact number at the show. FYI I won’t be logged into CGC most of the time so not a good idea to try reach me that way. Cheers Joseph https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetail.asp?gcat=9492
  3. Warrior #1 "V For Vendetta" Story Page 1 Production Stat (Quality, c. 1982). "V for Vendetta" was first published in the black and white magazine Warrior in 1982. Shortly after that, David Lloyd raffled off Page 1 of the story at a signing event in London. At that time this production stat was made by Lloyd. This is the very stat used by DC Comics when they reprinted (and colorized) the story for their V For Vendetta mini-series in 1988. This stat is signed by Lloyd and the DC publication stamp is on the reverse side of the page. The stat measures 14.25" x 18.75". Currently for sale at Heritage Auctions and ending Sunday 19th June. https://comics.ha.com/itm/memorabilia/david-lloyd-warrior-1-v-for-vendetta-story-page-1-production-stat-quality-c-1982-/a/7274-97277.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515 https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1826102 Please see additional images for a copy of David Lloyd's original raffle notice.
  4. When I looked at it I definitely got a JR JR vibe. Cheers J
  5. I heard that warning sound when the Season splash with just Destiny hammered at what I thought was an astounding $30k+. (To think I made my other half leave a family lunch early for that ) Cheers J
  6. I don't want to slam the price of the Sandman #4 page too much publicly but I can't agree that it's a 'little' high. And the page was initially priced higher. To expand, I also attribute very little value to the 1st silhouette of Lucifer. In my opinion the Death page is far more desirable than the Lucifer but as Simon has already noted, the asking price does not equal market valuation. I own a Sandman 8 page and if the market value is really well into 6 figures for a page from that issue then that means the offers for my page are....lowball. (Regardless I'm not looking to sell). Cheers Joseph
  7. I believe it’s been in the same collection since 1982. J
  8. Yo Chris Not wanting to be too political (but let’s face it, what isn’t?!) But this is someone I wouldn’t be using - https://www.dallasnews.com/news/crime/2021/10/21/garland-man-is-latest-to-be-arrested-for-capitol-riot-after-feds-say-he-fought-with-officers/
  9. Not sure if it’s the reason being referred to above but Spencer was working Terrificon last week. Cheers Joseph
  10. I was intrigued to see this Jack Kirby Thing piece signed & dated 1998 - by an artist who died in 1994. https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/illustrations/jack-kirby-the-thing-san-diego-comic-con-panel-event-illustration-original-art-1998-/p/7246-155030.s Joseph
  11. Can anyone make any sense of this link? I can't. J
  12. Updated the website this afternoon with new art including a number of Quitely pages from Jupiter's Legacy to celebrate the release of the Netflix series today. Although they largely sold out in minutes. Also some Bolland Camelot prelims and bits & bobs http://www.britcomicsart.com/newitems.asp Cheers Joseph
  13. Worst Kelley Jones Sandman pages feels like a bit of a misnomer. Cheers Joseph https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=9492
  14. I traded both this Kelley page and the page before it to Albert at San Diego 2018 after he asked about them. In hindsight not my best move. Sorry no idea where that page went after. Cheers Joseph
  15. Here's a Kelley Jones page from Season - https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1721230 Cheers Joseph
  16. I’ve got a Batman piece in the pipeline that I’ll be offering for sale that isn’t from the actual run. It’ll hopefully be going up on BritComicsArt.com in the next update. Cheers Joseph https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=9492
  17. Hi all We did a small website update yesterday afternoon. Includes the following artists: Brian Bolland Frank Cho Tommy Castillo Jim Balent Mark Buckingham Dean Yeagle Budd Root Frank Quitely Keu Cha Greg Land Dave Gibbons Sean Chen http://www.britcomicsart.com/newitems.asp As always anyone who has signed up for website updates will receive e-mail announcements ahead of any update. Cheers Joseph
  18. From the Moy himself: It's only been a month since the last update and your concerns about me are appreciated. But if you were really concerned, you'd send over a massage recliner with as many airbags and motors as a car.
  19. Nearly a month constitutes a hiatus?! Cheers Joseph
  20. Hah. Either that, Malvin or I just have the worst filing system going! Cheers Joseph
  21. Hey, I think I still own a page from that same A1 story. (Haven't seen it in a while though) Cheers Joseph
  22. Kelley did sell some of his pages once upon a time (in the early 90's) but v rarely sells these days and has little interest in doing so. As you said, what's out there is mostly the inker's portions. Cheers Joseph
  23. Didn't the price to some degree reflect the damage? I wasn't to bothered by the description of condition as I hadn't enlarged the picture until a friend mentioned it. Once I saw the scoring right the way through it would definitely factor into my bidding.
  24. Huh, I just saw the 2 Kelley Jones Sandman pages on your wants list. I traded/sold both of them last year but you probably already know that. I think both were subsequently sold on. At least one to a fellow boardie. Cheers Joseph
