Post your Garage Sale/Flea Market/Antique Mall Finds Here
webeloobie replied to Shark's topic in Comics General
Picked these up this morning at the local antique shop down the street from my place. The Marvel Tales book would have been even sweeter if the cover weren't detached. Still a great read! -
A goof that big on a book that big? I kind of like it. It's kind of like a publisher misprint or color fail at the printer (Blue Galactus in Secret Wars) This also isn't a new thing for CGC. I've had this book in my PC for almost 20 years. The only thing that stinks about it to me is that I couldn't put it in the registry, unless I found a #2 that was mismarked as a #3

An added bonus is that Hulk 181 happens to be my birth month book. Wolvie and I are the same age!

It's been a while but I had to brag about these books I found in the wild last month. They're currently in transit from CGC. Fantastic collection I picked up that includes a complete Cap run from 100-400, Luke Cage 1-19, and a ton more bronze age goodies. Having a blast curating it!

Latest addition. I've bought and sold this book in a 9.8 a half dozen times and this'll be the last time. It's locked in my PC!

Picked this up the other day...another book I sold in a 9.8 a few years ago for about what I paid for this 9.6. Still a beauty! -

Couldn't pass this one up. I believe it's a strong CPR candidate, but I don't intend to do that any time soon. I sold my 9.0 in 2005 for about $500...times sure do change. -

I debated posting these here or in the Garage Sale/Flea Market thread. Since I actually obtained these from an attic find at an in-law's house I opted to post here. I'm not a rabid fan of the 2nd trilogy (I was entertained at each viewing of the movies); but these seem pretty cool to me.
