  1. I don't know, maybe I need to watch No Way Home again. It seemed about as disjointed as MoM when I watched it the first time, so I've been baffled by how well it was received by people here. All four MCU Spidey films struck me as "good", but none of them stands out as better than the others to me.

  2. I was 13 when Star Wars came out, but I've long been of the opinion that when at their best, Clone Wars and Rebels are the best Star Wars there is. I've watched both three times and will definitely watch them again. Rebels does need an end, and I hope the Ahsoka show is able to measure up to what came before. I like Rosario Dawson a lot, so casting her was a great start.

  3. I knew the basic story line going in because I had read the comics, but I enjoyed the film. Most of the animated DC films are really good in my opinion. I strongly suspect that the bad reviews for this one were given for the same reason the Zack Snyder DC films got a lot of bad reviews (i.e, "That's not MY Superman").

  4. I don't have a TV plan and don't want one, but I saw the teaser for this and really wanted to see it. I found the blu-ray on Etsy last week and binged it over the past couple days. I really enjoyed it, and I must say Jenna Ortega is phenomenal. I assumed she was about 14 years old, but she's actually 20. She is beyond petite, but they make her look even smaller than she is. No help is needed in that regard when she's next to Gwendolyn Christie (Captain Phasma) because she is 6' 3", but she generally looks to be about 4' 6" and is actually 5' 1". I'm looking forward to more of this!

  5. Yes, the Vengeance #25 was the 3rd one issued and it was considerably harder to find than the others, minus the Vengeance #1 and the #0. The two with Joseph Michael Linsner covers were hard to find at first, but more and more of them began popping up as his collectability dropped off some over the years.

Funny thing about the #0 pictured above. I couldn't find my scan from when I sold it on eBay, so I Googled it and found the MCS eBay listing. I don't remember exactly when I sold it or how much I sold it for, but it's probably been five years. My buyer immediately consigned it to MCS at several times my BIN price, and I see now that it still hasn't sold. I remember feeling bad that I had graded it at 9.0 and MCS called it an 8.5. It's down to somewhere around double what I sold it for now.

  6. I chased the Royal Blues from perhaps 2003 to 2017, give or take, and most of them weren't difficult to get. I was left with the impression that there must be fewer than 100 of the #0 and considerably fewer than 100 of the Vengeance #1. The #0 was the last one I got, and it was close to ten years after I had picked up my previous last one. I never did get the Vengeance #1, and when one finally did become available it was a CGC 9.8 listed at $3,600 on eBay.

  7. I Googled "The Betty Pages" to find an image of the cover of The Betty Pages #1 so I didn't have to try to find my copy. I think there were eight issues of this fanzine. I assumed this was the origin of the name Chuck's using. As it turns out, there is now a website by that name which comes in as the top result in Google, and the description states "Welcome to The Betty Pages! Cascadia's most inclusive alternative-lifestyle entertainment tabloid. Created in Bellingham, Washington."

  8. I wasn't excited about Andor at all initially. I liked Rogue One a lot, but a prequel show to a prequel movie starring a character I didn't find particularly compelling seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. The very positive reviews piqued my interest, though, especially the many "Star Wars for adults" comments. I dislike watching TV shows as the episodes are released - I don't necessarily binge, but I do like to be able to finish at my own pace. Being busy at work kept me from starting until last night. I thought I'd watch two episodes, but I was enjoying it enough that I stayed up until 2:00 AM and watched four episodes. Luna's a better actor than I gave him credit for, and of course Skarsgard is top-notch. I don't recognize many of the other actors, but the acting is a definite strength as are the locales. It's beautifully shot as well.
