My next underground sales thread is scheduled to start Friday evening around 9 EST as I have many books I need to scan this week. It will be a mixture of previously offered books as well as new offerings including a copy of the obscure comic "Suds" and a VFish copy of the first print of Zap #3, cheap low grade readers to high grade gems.

I just got a new small stack of raw undergrounds, some of them are titles/numbers I have never offered here before. I am trying to get them scanned & ready for this weekend.

Will start again tonight around 8:30 to 9 PM EST. I will offer a few very scarce Cherry comix as well as more original art & unusual Cherry items.

I just bought out all of Dan Fogel's remaining Cherry file copies as well as some Cherry original art & other Cherry stuff (like Cherry fan club items) which I will be listing here for sale on the boards. The comix have "file copy" certificates. There is very little that is uber high grade so it will be priced reasonably. Need to collate/grade/scan the books. Planning to start the thread tomorrow night around 8 PM EST.

The story circulating around the underground forums is that Crumb wanted the background colors to be more orange so when Donahue took over it happened. The first & second prints were hand assembled. However, with the 3rd edition, normal printing techniques took over & the colors ended up back on the yellow side which supposedly did not make Crumb happy.

Because of the hash oil cover? I wonder whether CGC would note that on the label?

That book will go for double guide BTW.

I have a copy of a Zap #1 which I am positive has a burn hole from a joint and some weird looking black smutz on the back cover that can probably be smoked.

I was running an underground sales thread in alphabetical order. I got up to the letter K and was on my 18th page, almost 2/3 of the books are sold and I can no longer edit the thread. In order to continue my sale I have now closed the thread. I am going to start a new one reposting the unsold books so it is easier for one to view then start adding the new ones. The last time I did this I had a board member slamming me for reposting unsold books too quickly. I just wanted to let everyone know what I was doing and my intent is not to monopolize the first page of the sales thread.

I closed all of my previous underground comix selling threads. I then started a new thread to consolidate all of my unsold books from the previous threads & to add a few new ones. I almost immediately got a PM from a board member who felt I was breaking the board rules by reposting unsold books in a new thread so quickly. He said I should have continued the old threads. One thread got to be over 30 pages long & another one had 35 books sold out of about 60 books. Frankly, they were becoming a pain to navigate if one wanted to see what was available. I thought I would give board members one more shot at the remaining books before moving them to a different selling venue. Was I out of line?
