Help me make a decision on a ASM 129

I have to agree. I know there's a new TV show coming out and prices may rise but it's not a rare book and prices usually fall back down as the show airs or finishes. I'd be patient and find a copy that presents well for the grade. Like @Black_Adam. I too picked up a copy with a subscription crease on the back cover. The front cover though looks so sweet for $700 during the price surge craze of a year ago. -
Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???

Free Comic Book Day tomorrow May 6th what are you going for?

I picked up these yesterday, I think a couple were from last year's fcbd. While I was there I picked up about $80 in nice high grade raw bronze books. Since the store has to buy the free fcbd books I like to buy back issues at the stores as a way of saying thanks for participating. It compensates them from the people who just turn up once a year for free comics and don't buy anything in the store at the time. -

Irony about the price variants, they were looked down upon. At the time I'd rather buy a U.S price copy from lcs as they were two months ahead of the news stand. Only picked up the Aussie price variants when I missed a issue at my lcs as it was a 45 minute train ride there. I did use to own the New Mutants 98 $1.50 Aus price variant but sold it when it first hit $100. Oh well easy come easy go 👍

I wouldn't have done that trade either. Coincidentally I picked up many years ago a Avengers 1 CGC 1.5 cream pages a grail book for me. I came across a Avengers 1 CGC 6.5 off-white pages and bought that book. Then sold my 1.5 copy. I generally like to upgrade first then sell rather then trade or sell them look for a replacement. I made the mistake of getting rid of my Avengers 4 CGC 3.5 because it has tan pages then the prices went through the roof and I'll probably never own a copy now.
