  1. Fantastic Four #72, VG/F, $65, small light stains BC, cntfld det. at top staple.
  2. Mostly Silver and Bronze Marvel with some other oddball items. Sales details are as follow: I can ship up to 3-4 books in the Priority Envelope for $7.75; boxed a little higher and at cost (around at $9-$10) but will also cheerfully ship via First Class (starts at $4.50) to keep the costs down. PM for international shipping quotes or questions. As usual, drop the if you'd like the book in the thread or via PM. In the event more than one person would like a book, the first unconditional by timestamp gets it regardless whether via PM or in the thread. Payment is expected within 5 days of invoice, and is accepted via PayPal or check. And of course, if you're not happy, return the books for your money back.
  3. I'm a WWBN and MS run collector and that book has always been a low priority. I'm bummed out about the run up, but feel pretty confident that at some point in the future prices will return to a more reasonable level. Prior to the Darkhold nonsense, it's always been a nothing book.
  4. I agree about the cop’s face, but then the rest of the cover didn’t look like Everett to me. I'm not seeing Everett. The drawing is too realistic and not cartoony enough; it looks as if the penciller used a photo for source material.
  5. Don't get me wrong, this topic is good fodder for a thread for sure, but I have a real nutty suggestion, fellas. Rather than rely on conjecture on a comic forum chat board about tax regulations, talking to a tax professional might be the best course of action. We've been using an accountant for years. Unless you're an EZ form filer, the fees involved have paid for themselves many times over just from saving the time and effort we'd invest otherwise.
  6. Late to the party again. Hulk 164 - 7.5 OW $8 Fantastic Four 201 - 8.0 W $3
  7. That's not correct. When ebay pulls a listing, it's gone, vanished. When a seller ends a listing, one of the several options to choose (you must pick one) is "this listing was ended because of an error in the listing," which most likely means the seller has an off-ebay sale. And the reason there are so many less listed today is because over 400 copies sold yesterday. Which is completely crazy, but has nothing to do with any conspiratorial plot.
  8. There's 360 for sale currently on ebay. Seems odd the the OP's listing was taken down. The books haven't been banned and there's millions out there; the estate simply decided to discontinue publishing them.
  9. Plus, after the mostly-Maneely first issue, it's a Jack Kirby extravaganza, especially # 4 with those John Severin inks.
  10. Luckily I completed my Yellow Claw run ages ago. Never read Agents of Atlas but always liked the original books. I wouldn't mind upgrading some but I don't know if that's in the cards.
  11. I'd say a close equivalent to your close equivalent is the run-up on post-code Atomic Era Atlas. I've collected these for years and enjoy them, but they don't hold a candle to regular PCH, with their often humdrum light fantasy stories with ho-hum art. It's kind of baffling to me; it's akin to seeing mid-run Sgt. Furys spike.
  12. FWIW, TOD #10 is a book I've always felt was overvalued, even 5-10 years ago. It's one of a handful of books I need to complete my run. It's been a low-priority though, and I am still trying to come around to the idea that Blade should command such a premium. He was always a B or C-lister to me.
