  1. Wow. I don't remember ever seeing Bullet Man outside of those Hostess-styled comic ads. I did have the Invader though. I think he's still in a box downstairs.
  2. I always coveted those, never had one. So now my basement is full of them! J/K.
  3. Building models was a great source of fun, especially dinosaurs and monsters
  4. Another fave, the Strange Change Time Machine. Still have mine with most of the creatures, but not the base.
  5. The Outer Space men was the FIRST toy I thought of before I even opened the thread. Here's another fave of mine, King Ding. I still have a lot from back then, but not KD.
  6. Cretella looks sexy with those shades. Looks sexy without them too. 10(10100)
  7. It's a great cover! Overstreet cites it as a graytone, but it's not really. There's no wash, its just the crosshatching of drawing combined with a nice, muted coloring job, the work of Stan Goldberg I assume.
  8. Thanks! You didn't go, did you? Bechara and Snyder were there; thought Albert Moy was supposed to set up but maybe I missed him.
  9. It came from those fellows from East Boston. You were probably distracted by all the other books they kept pushing at you.
  10. If you are considering buying this book, first I'd say watch out if it is from Facebook or Craigslist, second I would say read at least part of this thread:
  11. Why, yes it is! I may get an electric at some point, might've even done it this year if a spate of unexpected expenses hadn't come up. I prefer the exercise but a power mower makes a cleaner cut.
  12. I don’t want to sound like Mr. Sour Grapes; maybe someone else who went to the show can chime in with a more favorable view? Getting back to guests, for my money the Terrificon in CT next weekend has a killer lineup. Boston is a bit too heavily focused on the more modern guys. On the plus side, I got to see a few Boardies such as GACollectibles, Ryan and Junkdrawer. I’m terrible with names, especially board names, but Dmac wasn’t; he spotted me with my nose in a box and said hello. I was able to meet Rob React for the first time. I also saw Foolkiller, but chose not to address him as he appeared to be in deep negotiations.
  13. How about some cosplay classics from days gone by since i haven' taken any this year yet? Here's a few memorable ones: Super-Mom
