  1. Myriad threads about this seller over the years. here are a few. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/260814-alert-bijoubaby05-now-selling-on-ebay-as-all-things-comics-and-comix_code/ https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/440161-all-things-comics-it-just-never-ends/ https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/422034-anyone-bought-from-all_things_comics/
  2. Really need some shots of the front. Can’t really tell what’s going on in the first picture (were the outlines traced on the front cover?) or the second, but the third sure like like CT to me. It’s right on a crease that may be color breaking but without pictures of the front it’s impossible to tell.
  3. The Fin Fang Foom page is a reprint from Astonishing Tales #23 from '74, not from the original Strange Tales #89.
  4. First, you said you took it to two comic shops, then to two printers. If you took it to two printers and they told you each side could be run at one time, the only printing they must do is on their first grade homework. The cover is a single sheet of paper; front and back cover (right and left side of the sheet) are printed at the same time.
  5. What Blowie says. Post a picture of the back cover. From here it looks like a typical sun fade. Every color is faded; red is the first to go and blue the last.
  6. Eager Buyers + Google + Keywords = Thread Necromancy
  7. Here’s an unsigned copy that sold for $40 https://www.ebay.com/itm/CRYPTIC-WRITINGS-of-MEGADETH-1-LEATHER-VARIANT-NEAR-MINT-1997-CHAOS-COMIC-KINGS/162959229781?epid=109353344&hash=item25f1208355:g:IcoAAOSwLe5as6dV and one that sold for $20 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cryptic-Writings-Of-Megadeth-1-Leather-Premium-Edition-Chaos-Comics-VG/263809602374?hash=item3d6c471346:g:vKAAAOSwUY5bRlqI
  8. When is your appointment? Would love to hear how it goes. Do you plan on keeping or selling the books?
  9. Thought Luxx and Krazy was the same dude ... app. not. Not even close. Completely different posting styles, and they lived on opposite ends of the east coast.
  10. It’s rare I would disagree with KirbyJack, but I think TTA from #60 onwards was really solid. I’d consider the Human Torch stories in Strange Tales not so great; unfortunately a lot of the Giant Man stories in TTA had the same sort of goofy, half-baked scripting. Once the Sub-Mariner began in #70, the whole book was off and running. Both the Subby and Hulk stories have the classic 60s Marvel-type storytelling charm that drew me into comics in the first place. Why are they worth not so much? They’re not Spider-Man. Outside of the early biggies, there aren’t any key issues that tie into the MCU or current storylines. And run collectors are a dying breed.
  11. Around that time period or he is still showing up now? Back then. I recall seeing at least one other thread and pictures besides Blowie's. They were weeks or months apart, IIRC, though my details might be off.
  12. First and foremost, the size. Also, an original copy would not have a row of little holes along the edge from binding, but the 1974 hardcover Famous First Edition would.
  13. If these were pages from an actual Action Comics #1 they would indeed be worth something. However, since these are pages from the 1974 Famous First Edition reprint, they are worth less than the frames they are in.
  14. It’s Classics Illustrated; demand will be minimal regardless of artist. This is not a book to break up. CI even made Kirby look boring.
