  1. Sort by name: Yes. It it doesn't assign random names; what you've titled the file is what it is. Organize by folders: Yes Paid account: Unaware of one. I found it 10x easier to use than PB. You can see the entire image and name of the file in the thumbnail.
  2. Yeah, of course. $15 of $399 is a joke. For some reason I haven’t been experiencing the login issues others have. I have not been using PB a ton, but was on there every day last week IIRC. I was unable to access it one morning but got on later. I’m using Firefox with AdBlock. Downloading wasn’t a problem either, I grabbed a bunch of files. (Nothing huge though, just scans of funnybooks.) Navigating is the usual pain though; I’ve always found it sluggish even before the current problems started.
  3. Went to see it yesterday with the missus and the son; everybody enjoyed it thoroughly. Some of the sitcom aspects were a bit unusual but the jokes were all good ones. Underneath it all are some classic dramatic themes that give the story some heft. I was pleasantly surprised since I’m experiencing a bit of superhero movie/TV fatigue these days. (Just finished Luke Cage this week and that’s a show I enjoyed.) I‘m also a bit burnt on the heavy, dark, anti-hero superhero angle so it was refreshing to see something energetic and high-spirited. The current trend of 2 hour-plus epics is another aspect I’m tired of but Ragnarok moved along at a nice clip without myriad subplots to bog it down. I saw Christopher Yost was one of the writers; I’m a big fan of his work on the animated Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (another show the whole family enjoyed).
  4. I’ve been getting myriad emails from them offering me this and that in return for upgradging my account. (Still using the free one.) I count 8 from October and 5 so far this month. Here’s one from last week: "We are overwhelmed by your support! (and so was our site) We had so much traffic this weekend that it took us to the limit. Our tech team has been working around the clock, and NOW every element on our site is stronger and ready for our growing service and soon-to-be released new platform. Thank you for your loyalty as we grow and improve Photobucket. We’re sorry for the inconvenience – please accept our code good for $15 off your order.” They can take a flying leap through a rolling doughnut. I’m migrating my stuff out of there but interestingly I’m still able to post images on third party sites although I sometimes have to adjust the URL slightly to get rid of extraneous characters.
  5. For you viewing pleasure we present another episode of The Baby and Pigmon Show! In the latest installment, irrepressible young zanies Minya and Pigmon sally forth on a mission from dad (Godzilla) in search of summer jobs, with predictably hilarious results.
  6. All I know is everybody always wants Greggy's package!
  7. For the last 6-7 years, my son and I have made a Halloween art project. A few years ago we made a large Frankenstein for the yard based on James Bama’s wonderful Aurora model box art. Pressed for time last year we opted for a gravestone; this year it was back to Bama for Dracula. I don't go for gore, I like to keep it family friendly.
  8. I finished the Tony Bennett biography "All the Things You Are" by David Evanier a few weeks ago. Am currently between books.
  9. When you shipped it back did comic connect agree to actually take it back? Or did you ship it just asking for a refund.
  10. Thanks folks! It’s not slab-worthy but I prefer raws anyway.
  11. I hope not. I'd like to upgrade mine but it's not a priority.
  12. This was one of the first comics I bought off the rack, so I grabbed an upgrade at the LCS to sit next to my beater.
  13. While it’s great that you’ll make a tidy profit on that deal, I have to wonder if that sort of thing won’t come around to bite you. An 8.5-9.0 ASM #129 is going to be selling for around $1200-1900 these days. If the seller finds out the current FMV, she may not be so inclined to offer more books since a few hundred dollars is but a fraction of that.
  14. I like a bicycle courier style bag. I put a few old LPs in to act as a big cardboard-type sandwich for my books.
  15. Well said. While some of it would sell at local comic conventions the bulk of the collection requires online selling either here on the boards or Ebay. There are literally hundreds of posters as an example that are a shipping nightmare ( in my opinion ). I have a small batch of posters that's been sitting around for years; haven't been able to motivate myself to go through the hassle of selling.
  16. I already have Superman pillow sleeve, Batman/Joker pillow sleeve, even Star Wars too. All pre 1980s ...yeah I am that fan Those aren't pillow sleeves or cases, they are inflatable plastic pillows as advertised in various Marvel comics in the mid-late 60s. Greggy probably has the dates memorized. I prefer Satan's pillows myself....
  17. Their time payment system goes through your major credit card. You can take as long as you want to pay as long as you meet your monthly minimum.
