  1. I don't know whether he offers a subscription service, but BeachBum is a highly respected board member known for his top shelf 9.8 pre-sales.
  2. The Neg was left Dec 30th I think from someone else ? This item sold Jan 1st after the Neg. If you click on “view item” from the neg, you’ll see the link takes you to the auction in question. Buyer's ebay ID matches as well.
  3. Buyer left negative feedback: https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=j_stre5&&_trksid=p2047675.l2560&rt=nc&iid=272993595272&sspagename=VIP%3Afeedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller
  4. The high bidder left negative feedback, too. Might be unaware of ebay's policies. https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=j_stre5&&_trksid=p2047675.l2560&rt=nc&iid=272993595272&sspagename=VIP%3Afeedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller
  5. It was an embarrassment of riches this year. Santa brought us the Tarzan DVD set as well as the LIS calendar; we've had a vintage Marvel one the last few years. The missus got my son and I matching Hulk vs. Thor shirts; the Gargantuas t-shirt is his from us. He also got a Civil War shortbox for his funnybooks plus a few new ones. Plus an insane amount of kaiju guys.
  6. Merry Christmas from Ultra Kaiju!
  7. This is a terrific page! I'd love to own one from the Kirby/Everett run. Congrats!
  8. For me for sure. Doesn’t matter if it’s a $10, $100 or $1,000 book. If I bought it as blue label with no notation or disclosure regarding a detached cover, I’d go through the roof.
  9. I’ve always loved the Atlas pre-hero monster books, been collecting them since the 70s. My first exposure to them would have been in the reprint titles, Where Monster Dwell, Monsters on the Prowl, etc. My very first actual issue was Strange Tales #91, which my dad found on a construction site he was working at. Back then they were tough for me to find; there was only one dealer at the local monthly show who had them with any regularity.
  10. Very nice copy, great color strike, presents terrific. Did you have it pressed? Are the staples rusty at all? Looks better than a 4.0 from here.
  11. I'd say 4.0. Too bad about the fade, but it looks like a solid copy.
  12. With a quick once-over I'd say 9.0 but I think Joe is right about possibly lower.
  13. Damn, I wasn't even in the ballpark. However, this was still a great time and I want to give a big, big thanks to Dr. X for putting all the effort in, and bringing back a semblance of what the Boards used to be like.
