  1. Here are a few random aisle shots from Sunday, wth Neal Adams in the corner.
  2. Here are some wall shots. I'm sorry, but they stink. I was tired and not up for aggressive photo taking. They are also somewhat minimal, reflecting the lesser number of decent dealers. More on that later. Harley had some nice books.
  3. It was too late and I was too tired on Saturday when I got home to do much more than loaf, so my son and I took in some Lego Avengers.
  4. Indeed it was. Parking was much easier than the old location. Getting back to Route 93, not so much. The street and ramp configuration has changed a lot from when I lived in town, plus there's a lack of signage, so I had some struggles when I left the second night and was directed to a different lot exit by staff on duty. After the initial sign there was nothing and I almost wound up getting stuck on the Mass Pike. Anyways, upwards and onwards...
  5. I think that was an unintentional photobomb but I dig it. I don't know who the cowgirl is but she has it going on.
  6. Are those gang signs? Friendly but scary when posing.
  7. Seemed to be a fair amount collectors around, which is a good thing of course. Or maybe I'm just so old everyone looks younger now...
  8. Yeah, I think that may be why some of the tomatoes are ginked.
  9. Wall shots and books to follow tomorrow; here's some cosplay to tide us over.
  10. The new location is 3x as large as the old. A shot on the approach that doesn't indicate the size.
  11. Catwoman or the Black Cat was sauntering towards the convention center as I approached. She's behind the pole.
  12. We had rain overnight into the morning, first time I can remember during the show. No complaints though since we didn't need to water the garden. Sky was still a bit overcast when I hit 128.
  13. I will endeavor to write more report tomorrow and Monday, time permitting. Mostly photos tonight. Got my lunch packed bright and early and hit the road.
  14. Here's an errant thought while I wait for my toast. At the previous location at the Seaport Center, the hall had a set of bathrooms in the back and a set in the front. They weren't huge, maybe a half dozen stalls and urinals in each, so you could find yourself waiting in a huge line in a messy bathroom if you had to go. This year at the Convention Center, we only seem to have ONE set of each in the rear of the hall, with a handful of urinals and only THREE stalls. How can this be? With an expected attendance of 60k people, it's going to get ugly real fast.
  15. Okay, I need to get back to real life, more tomorrow!
