  1. I think "inaccurate" or "no longer correct" would be a better term than "a lie". They weren't rusted at the time of grading. The seller put "EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A SEALED CGC COMIC IT HAS RUSTED STAPLES. DON'T HESITATE TO ASK QUESTIONS" in large print in his description, it doesn't look like he was trying to put one over on anybody.
  2. Went to a screening Saturday night with the missus. We both enjoyed it very much. It beats the pants off any of the Legendary/Monarch versions and is definitely one of the best in the series. I've been a fan since I was a kid and have seen and own them all (except for Shin Godzilla, which I didn't care for so much). My only complaint is the character design. He looks a bit too much like a cross between Legendary/Monarch Godzilla and Shin Godzilla.
  3. I could have sworn this thread was lengthier or there was another. We finally finished watching a few weeks ago. Overall I'd give it a thumbs up. It was certainly better than any of the post-Gamera vs. Barugon (the 2nd in the series) movies but I probably still prefer the '90s-up Heisei era films. It was a little too drawn out, many times scenes went on far too long. I've seen complaints online about the animation but thought it was was fine. Nobody is going to mistake it for a Miyazaki movie but it was decent and the kaiju character redesigns were quite nice.
  4. Based on that trailer, I have no desire to see this movie. My son saw it the other night and wasn't interested either, said it doesn't look very good and that "Kong has a Thanos arm." 8 minute long fight scenes? No thank you.
  5. This all the way. I've sold cars and car parts locally through Craig's List or the WantAdvertiser, large, expensive items that pretty much require in person inspection, but anything I list on ebay stays on ebay. I don't have time or desire to save some knucklehead $5-10 on postage on a freakin' comic book or collectible even if they're going to hand me cash. No feedback or purchases after 2 years is a bit odd. Maybe he's looking to mug the OP. Probably farfetched, but stories like that do occasionally turn up in the news.
  6. I'll have some superhero toys just in time for Xmas!
  7. It is indeed. Or it was. I imagine things haven't changed much since i was buying them.
  8. Yup. Base on my understanding of a Qualified book, a Qualified .5 makes no sense.
  9. I'm behind again and this is as far as I can go for a few days, the gaps start after #307.
  10. That website is one of our greatest comic resources. What a shame. R.I.P. Mike, and thanks for all your work.
  11. Even if you don't set up your listings to accept offers, potential "buyers" can still send a message and ask if you'd take less than the listed amount.
  12. He and I never interacted much, but he seemed like a decent guy. Very sorry to hear this. R.I.P.
  13. I was going to bow out after #300 since that's where my PC stops, but I guess I'll plod along as I can. Some of my post-#300 issues I've sold and others I'll be looking to sell.
  14. I'm all for Marvel Premiere #28 even though I don't like the art. Howzabout Marvel Two-In-One #1? Daredevil #114? I'd second Hulk #197, too. It's become a minor classic cover and it was drawn by Bernie Wrightson. Wrightson drawing the Man-Thing, how cool is that? I prefer first page autographs but since I have multiple copies of #197 I went with the front.
  15. No way - he's the number 1 super guy! He's quicker than the human eye! He's got the style of a movie star and a car that just won't stop! When the going gets rough he's super tough with a Hong Kong Phooey chop!
  16. Sorry but this is all super vague and still not very convincing. Not saying none of what you say is true, but you aren't exactly providing any factual evidence to back it up, either.
  17. Thanks for posting. I was wondering how extensive the collection was. What's next? Aurora Whoozis? Castle Creatures? Other manufacturers horror/monster/dino kits? Bama art?
  18. I don't think I've won anything from Comiclink since August. I generally place a shload of tracking bids but the odds are 50/50 that I'm remember to bid the day the auction ends. There's too much lead time and the different ends times are too spread out for me.
