  1. Need to stop a little sooner than expected, time for some quality time with the youngun watching Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I hope to start up again mid-day after some yard work.
  2. The Gunhawk #18, VG, some staple rust, $25. Last issue of the run! Maneely cover. (For those who don't like to read sigs.)
  3. Broncho Bill #7, F/VF, $40. Schomburg cover. I've never spelled it with an "h". Headlights! Western bondage! SOLD!
  4. I think this is my first sales thread on the new boards. I'll be listing a bunch of pre-code crime and westerns from the late Golden Age to late Atomic Age from a variety of publishers. Sales details are as follow: I can ship up to 3-4 books in the Priority Envelope for $6.65; boxed a little higher and at cost (around at $7-$10) but will cheerfully consider other options such as First Class if you want to keep the costs down. PM for international shipping quotes or questions. As usual, drop the if you'd like the book in the thread or via PM. In the event more than one person would like a book, the first by timestamp gets it regardless whether via PM or in the thread. Payment is expected within 7 days of invoice; payment accepted via PayPal; checks or postal money orders are fine, too. And of course, if you're not happy, return the books for your money back.
  5. How is it you are in such dire straits you are unable to honor your commitment to Iceman399, yet have enough funds to spend thousands on comics just this past month alone?
  6. Arch - Does post purging on the new boards function the same as on the original? i.e. Pruning for a single offending post is troublesome, so neighboring posts might also get deleted in the process? Tx!
  7. Overall I’d say no, but in the case of Stan I could see where somebody might be willing to pay a bit more for a sig that looks like this, as opposed to the sometimes blobby, modern style made with a Sharpie.
  8. Lots of great art in these: Heath, Davis, Crandall, Baker, Wildey, Severin, Maneely, Ayers, Colan. Westerns from the LCS, War from a small local show:
  9. Without seeing the back, looks like a sun fade to me. Front and back cover is a single sheet printed all at once. If a particular plate was missing, the color for that plate would be missing from both.
  10. What about Steranko? He did a lot of illustration work after his '60s comics.
  11. I just looked at your profile to see your warning points, but I guess those only show up on your own page.
  12. Just got these. The Frontier Western is chock full of great stuff: Heath, Davis, Crandall, Baker, Wildey. The Western Outlaws isn't bad either: Severin, Maneely, Ayers, Crandall, Colan.
  13. Just picked this up this weekend, last issue of the series. Its a beater, but the price was right.
