  1. Besides becoming round, avatars seem to have higher resolution than they used to. Mine may need tweaking; looks a bit too jaggy.
  2. Right on the money. I've been collecting pre-hero Marvels for as long as I've been collecting comics (40+ years). TTA #13 was just another pre-hero giant monster book until the movie.
  3. I'd say the target age was people of all ages. My 4th grader enjoyed it, the missus enjoyed it, younger kids in the audience enjoyed as did the adults I saw and heard, including myself.
  4. I'm sure we'll all love you just the same...GAG.
  5. Okay, last one for now, Journey Into Unknown Worlds #58, at the tale end of the run. Has a story by Mort Drucker, who I'll always associate with MAD.
  6. Navy Action #16. Everett cover and stories by all the great early Marvel artists: Everett, Colan, Shores, Reinman and Sinnott!
  7. These are more in keeping with the bulk of my collection, ye olde Atlas titles. 1957 was rife with Maneely; here's Western Gunfighters #25.
  8. I'll begin my Battle of Learning How To Start New Topics here. I started a 60 year thread in 2016, but petered out; I hope to be able to roll with this one for the rest of the year. At least we're 6 weeks into it... Let's start off with something slightly atypical for a Marvel guy, Tales of the Unexpected #18, which I picked up here on the boards not long ago. Not being much of a '60s DC fan the attraction here is the Jack Kirby cover and story. Plus, if BAF can build a DC collection, so can I!
