There is a seller on here that does something similar, only he actually cardboard sandwiches it first, then drops it into the void of a large priority box, and the thing rattles around all the way across the U.S. The boxes are always crushed to heck when the get here, and I always think, 'oh no...., ' but I've never had any of the items damaged. I'm thinking it's mostly luck, though. And the name of this seller is? I'm sure I'm not the only person who would like to avoid said seller.

Bosco, even if the case looked funny and you thought the book overgraded or swapped (which can't even be done unless it's an old label case) why file a PayPal dispute hours after you were told a refund was forthcoming from a long standing Forumite? I have no beef with either of you guys, have never dealt or even know you guys, but you overeacted and owe Rich an apology. I rarely sell anything, but sure as heck wouldn't want to do business with anybody who reacts like you did.

My faves are probably Karloff and Turok, but they’re all fun reads. If you’re the type of person who thinks SA Marvels are unreadable and prefer Moderns, you may find them a bit creaky.

I still don't understand why it's bad form to comment on someone's grading....but apparently it is. Personally...I just skip those sellers threads. The boards are RIFE with people whose grading skills need improvement. If we decide that it’s okay to make grading comments in a FS thread, it’s not unlikely we’d soon have a peanut gallery of dunces offering ill-informed opinions. And then the secondary problem is: How will the forumite who doesn’t know how to grade differentiate between commentary from the Niks, Toros and GACollectibles of the boards vs. commentary from the dunderheads?

Well, I still don't think yesterday's trade post violated any guidelines, and I've commented on improper sales posts in the past. Anyways, especially since trade threads are few and far between, I don't see any major problems with the new guideline.

Jim doesn't need me in his defense, but WTF are you talking about? Bob makes a nice "feel good" thread about collecting, and Watson responded with another feel good post. You should re-read it. He comes across like somebody who truly enjoys collecting comics.

Within that thread, Bosco685 created numerous gags with the "Cal-Bot." "Cal-Bot" also turned up again in GPA George's thread about the nasty expletive laden email he received out of the blue from Fedoraman.
