  1. Time to play catchup. FF #28 is probably my favorite issue of the Chic Stone issues. The cover harkens back to the pre-hero giant monsters, it has the original X-men and back in the '70s it was the oldest FF in my collection. I have 2 low grade copies, I really should upgrade one of these days.
  2. It's possible 100% of the time when submitting a book to know whether it is complete or not by simply counting the pages and also looking to make sure nothing is cut or clipped from those pages.
  3. Resurrecting this thread because today I received an X-Men #3 (as in 1964) packed the same way! It was bagged and boarded with a half dozen backing boards and put inside a slab bag and taped. The the shipping department simply rolled bubble wrap around it, taped the bubble wrap and put it in a box. No cardboard sandwich, nothing except bubble wrap and a polybag protecting the front cover. There was zero damage but it's a bit worrisome as this appears to be their current M.O.
  4. Huh-wha? "On the postal label says “15.9 oz” meaning as 450.75 oz." No, it says 0 lbs, 15.9 oz, which means it weights 15.9 ounces, 1 tenth of an ounce shy of 16 ounces. 16 oz would equal 1 lb. Three comics packed in an envelope inside a box could easily weigh approximately 1 lb. What's the issue?
  5. With a discount it's clocking in at about $6.78 and I need to update my listings again.
  6. Actually more like the opposite. I've had those KCOs for a while. I haven't been buying much lately and consistently forget about auctions I'm watching!
  7. I have trouble keeping up, even when I already have a scan. FF #24 is probably my least favorite of the early issues.
