  1. This topic comes up with some regularity on the Boards. I think this is the most recent one:
  2. Speaking of building, I just finished my Polar Lights Creature from the Black Lagoon. This is an all-original new sculpt kit they made in 2012, inspired by the Aurora kits but not a reissue.
  3. With the Monogram and Revell Aurora reissues, I like seeing professionally built kits on the box, but they don't hold a candle to the originals.
  4. Do they allow reissues in here? Reissues are great for building. I picked this one up ages ago and still haven't gotten to it.
  5. Another oldie but goodie. Hulk has seen some wear and tear over the years but he's still hanging in there. Get it?! Hanging in there? A poster? Hanging?
  6. Here is Cap and Iron Man in their original habitat, circa 1970-something. I lost Cap in the '90s, but still have Iron Man.
  7. Very nice! A comic-book's comic that's near and dear to my heart. That was the closest thing to the actual issues back when I was a youngun and the originals were way out of reach.
  8. Well, here's my two cents. I'm not a huge fan of the promoter and for me his shows are very hit or miss. I've been to multiple and many times I've walked out nearly empty-handed or even with nothing at all. It really depends on who sets up. But, I'm going to go since there's a few mitigating factors this time around. A dealer friend who sets up said the last few have been pretty decent with a fair amount of comic dealers and that the last one had more in the room than FanExpo, (which he admitted was a low bar). Linda Miller, (King Kong Escapes, The Green Slime) is going to be there. As a kaiju fan I think I'd kick myself if I skipped going, and it would be nice to get her autograph alongside Akira Takarada's who my son and I met there a few years back. Perhaps the most important thing is we're visiting my brother-in-law Saturday, and he lives 10 minutes down the road from the hotel so it would be silly not to check it out.
  9. I could see building an original, opened kit - maybe, but a sealed box would be crazy. Plus, various companies have made re-pops over the years. Many of the original molds still exist.
  10. I assume you haven't heard yet about the Spendable Funds program: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling/spendable-funds?id=5305 I keep getting emails from ebay about using it.
  11. He’s sending messages through my for sale listings. Does he like shoes or horses? Does he have fashion scents?
  12. Sure it does. None of my listings use the "Make Offer" feature. Somewhere on the listing page, which ebay seems to be eternally and infernally monkeying with, is a check box.
