  1. It does as far as a dry cleaning. But, it also indicates a poor attempt at dry cleaning.

  3. It all depends where the eraser marks are. I have removed many from books that were poorly dry cleaned and pressed by amateurs (and some that consider themselves professionals).

  5. Why would you be looking for a coverless book? Most shops have them, or simply pull the cover off a beater copy if you really want to practice your trade. CGC has its own pressing service and probably will delete this thread. I say this from experience. Most will take issue with your methods (the ones you self described) in your post.
  6. He lost lots of other resources. Most likely he wont care, as there are enough out there to fuel his addiction.
  7. Here is a mid-grade lot of picture frame books. Very nice looking books for the assigned grade. Selling as the lot. Chamber of Darkness Annual #1, Hulk 158, X-Men #74 and 75, Avengers #93, Marvel Triple Action #1. GPA is $441.00 on the lot. $350.00 with shipping. Sorry for the crummy picture.
