  1. Let me know when you're ready.......I'll cut you a deal. Does that books description read "cover cleaned" More like it got its "clock cleaned". Rat TKO.
  2. That might just be the greatest picture i've ever seen! my hero!! What grade is the 5? 7.0 OW/W
  3. Completed my early Hulk run with #3 arriving today. I will be upgrading issue #2 as soon as I can.
  4. My Hulk #3 came today. I took one quick picture before my camera went dead (batteries) and here it is. Not the best but I will post a better one later this week. I am working on an upgrade for the Hulk #2.
  5. Major kudos to 1koko for the last piece of my Hulk puzzle. He shipped out (and professionally I might add) a nice solid 6.5 copy of Hulk #3 with OW/W pages. I now have all of the original 6 books and will have picture to share later tonight.
  6. WTB posts haven't been very successful for me here, but that's b/c I'm looking for tough books. I don't know that we'd want to impose guidelines as to how WTB posts should be formulated as most collectors will consider various combinations of grade, eye appeal, price, and page quality in determining what they'd pay. It is worth noting that there have actually been quite a few WTB posts recently, so the idea of a separate WTB forum may carry more weight now - I know that the last time we discussed dividing up the forums you decided not to break them out as there just wasn't enough volume to justify it, and you didn't want too many sub-categories in the marketplace. I think this would help since most WTB posts get pushed to the bottom of the viewing list within a day, if not a few hours. Having one spot to look through would make selling easier if I can match a buyer to a book instead of throwing it on ebay.
  7. Just picked up the Hulk #3 I was looking for from 1koko. When I get it I will post a picture of all issues (#1-6) together.
  8. Sure. Nice copies BTW. I may have to add these to my 2007 list of books to buy.
  9. The thought has crossed my mind. If I get brave enough I might do it.
  10. Thanks Arex. The scans do not do this book justice. It looks a lot sharper than the 9.4 grade. I have gone over this book many times and cannot find enough wrong with it to keep it out of 9.6 range.
  11. Turns out it is a Winnipeg copy. Here is the scan.
  12. I need to check but I am pretty sure the 104 is a pedigree. I will post a better scan tomorrow.
  13. Kudos goes out to Doug and whoever helped him at Pedigree comics for getting one of my personal keys (FF #48) to me in record time. I was afraid the books were going to sit in a Fed-Ex facility over the holiday but I received them today. Great book (undergraded IMHO) and excellent service.
  14. It has always been a dream of mine to own the original 6 Hulk books in FN+ or better. Actually I would like to own them in NM but who can afford that anymore. I have 4 of the 6 so far and a Hulk #2 in at CGC and a deal going with a board member for the #3...all I have to do is see the scans to finalize the deal. Here is a picture of what I have so far: #1(CGC 6.5), #4(CGC 7.0), #5(CGC 7.0), #6(CGC 6.5) Sorry for the poor photo but I did not have time for scans. I will have the other 12 centers up soon. Post them if you have them.
  15. Kudos to comicdey for the CGC 9.6 ASM #300 and Hulk #202 (9.4). Well protected and it was needed...post office did a number on the box but the books were not damaged.
  16. Kudos back at ya for helping a brother out. guess you really didn't like my cgc 9.6 after all. foxy heartbroken My goal was to buy two. Goal accomplished. Now all I need to do is track down a FN+ copy of Hulk #3 and life would be good. Your copy is safely tucked away in my private stash .
