  1. The Spidey drug issues still give me a Silver 60's vibe for some reason. Morbius would be an interesting starting point for the Bronze age of Spidey
  2. That's a pretty good end point for Marvel in general. Don't most people say the start of DC Bronze began with Adams GL #76?
  3. Is there still a possibility that Marvel and Sony could come to some financial agreement in the coming months, with all this being a negotiation strategy by both sides?
  4. Left that one out, but maybe I'll look for one and make a 7 issue run of it after all
  5. Not positive if these belong in Silver or Bronze, but thought I'd go ahead and post em here. A couple of Spidey trilogies:
  6. Who owns the movie rights to Mysterio, Sony or Marvel? If a Sinister Six movie was made by Sony, would they need to negotiate rights with Marvel for any of the characters?
  7. One thing I'm not clear on, since Sony owns the Spider-Man movie rights, does it also own the Spidey villain movie rights for those that first appeared in the title? Could Marvel make a Sinister Six movie without requiring negotiation with Sony?
  8. Sony purchased the Spidey movie rights in 1999 soon after Marvel's bankruptcy. Paid $7 million for it. Crazy thing, Sony was offered the entire remaining Marvel Universe of characters including Spidey for $25 million, which Sony refused (they only wanted Spidey)!
  9. Does Vince personally package these with maniacal laughter?!
  10. I know a lot of pedigrees can be identified by their unique written date/mark or date stamp (White Mountain, Green River, etc.). I own an ASM #13 with an interesting date mark. Anyone recognize this mark or ever seen it before on any other books? Wondering what the "p" would represent?
  11. Interesting, didn't realize that this issue had a common miscut at the top. Wonder if any other Spidey's had this as a common problem as well
  12. Very cool info! #11, #4, and #28 are the only Spidey issues without a CGC 9.8 to date. And I've always admired this cover and the 2nd app of Doc Ock. Never seen a CGC 9.6 for sale, can't imagine where that one will end up No where near that stratosphere, but still extremely happy with my copy:
  13. Did we ever get a response from the OP regarding his submission to CGC almost 5 years ago? Was the FF 48 restored or not?!
  14. Don't know who's collection this is, but pretty sick when his ASM #3 CGC 9.4 Twin Cities copy is one of the "low grade" issues in the collection
  15. Romita has to have one of the cleanest and most well placed sigs out there! Haven't seen too many bad ones yet.
  16. How about a little Molten Man action?! Really dig these Ditko covers
  17. Gotcha! So if a dealer ends up with extra badges, they can just be given to out to certain friends that ask (or that ask with some incentive for the dealer), or even possibly sold online to make a little profit? And do Con organizers frown on this type of activity? Shows how little I know of the Comic Con dealer behind the scene activities
  18. Curious, how do non-dealers and non-helpers get these dealer badges to begin with? Is there a list you sign up for to get special approval
  19. Congrats Dave on such a visually stunning and amazing copy! Colors are out of this world, so bright and vibrant, love it!
  20. That's a beauty!! I have a soft spot for Green River's Did it come with one of these cool certs from Shin?
