  1. Another great transaction!
  2. No, he hasn't. Consistently drawn as short. Maybe not always 5'-3", but clearly shorter than everyone else.
  3. That's an easy one! A CGC 9.8 in Canada translates to CGC 9.9 American!
  4. The Fleischer Studios asked if they could just show him flying because the leaping was a pain to animate. You can see he leaps in the first episodes, and soon is outright flying. Clearly the comic artists were leaning in that direction anyway.
  5. Marvel Two in One 21 - 7.0 OW $2 Take!
  6. 4 Floors?? I have heard of double covers, but this is amazing!
  7. I watched this recently. Really enjoyed it. More than makes up for Hawk's death in Titans.
  8. My first purchase from Joe went great. Recommended Seller!
  9. George was the first artist I could spot by eye. His first Avengers run made me a fan for life. He drew everyone (literally) on spec and accurate. No ego, just great art. You could tell his characters apart out of costume. A legend.

    Gotham

This show got better in later seasons. Even Barbara Keene became more watchable. The fact that the show establishes the entire Rogues Gallery as several years older then Batman as a premise was a problem for me. How impressive is Batman when he can just kick out their canes?
  11. If this movie can take the character and sense of wonder of the Flash using his power as in ZS'JL, it will be pretty good.
  12. I said I would buy from Steve again, and I am glad I did. Great service.
  13. Marvel Two in One 47 - 8.0 OW $3
  14. Wikipedia sums it up. The Donald Blake "entity" was transferred into Stormbringer for Beta Ray Bill to change into a normal version of his race. Thor's father Odin decides his son needed to be taught humility and consequently incarnates Thor (without memories of godhood) on Earth as a mortal, partially disabled human medical student, Donald Blake.[55] After becoming a doctor, Blake witnesses the arrival of an alien scouting party while he is on vacation in Norway. Blake flees from the aliens into a cave. After discovering Thor's hammer Mjolnir (disguised as a walking stick) and striking it against a rock, he transforms into the thunder god.[56] Later, in Thor #159, Blake is revealed to have always been Thor, Odin's enchantment having caused him to forget his history as The Thunder God and believe himself mortal.[57] In recent years I believe Don Blake has returned and I am sure is actually something different all together in a modern Marvel "Let me explain how Stan and Jack were wrong" way.
  15. Thor in mythology is ridiculously strong and can command the storms. Thor is the only one strong enough to wield Mjolnr. Stan and Jack added the inscription putting the power of Thor in the hammer so that Don Blake "becomes Thor" in a superhero kind of way. Later Stan and Jack retconned that when they knew Thor was really going to be around and Jack clearly wanted to draw more Asgard. Nobody could lift Mjolnr until Uncle Walt introduced us to Beta Ray Bill. If fact, no one ever mentioned that inscription since JIM 83. The explanation was that Odin's magic in the inscription gave the power to Bill. In a way, that makes the Cap scene in Endgame work. Thor is the God of Thunder, but Cap was able to wield Thor-like power because he is worthy.
  16. Just received a bunch of Marvel Team Ups from Jim. All as described and well packaged.
  17. I have been on the fence for while regarding the pick up truck. Creator vehicles work so much better for me than the Technic cars.
