Oups, I should have post this in Bronze Age... Sorry
-
Yesterday, for the first time in many years, I have read Marvel Team-Up #41 to #46. In issue #45 with Killraven (published in 1976), I was amused to see the following : I share this just for fun.

PGM The Amazing Spider-Man #53
Pangolin replied to Pangolin's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Thanks for your comments. I was between 5.0 and 5.5 But at 4.5, you are severe grader, man. -
I'm not a member of this club, but I'd like to ask a question about the Marvel Value Stamp. I'm presently replacing some comics from my collection where the stamps were missing (MTU #28-30, for example). What do you do as a collector with this kind of comics? MTU #28 is not Hulk #181. Do you try to sell them? Throw them in a recyling bin?

Does the fact the front and back covers are misaligned downgrade this comic more? What is your grade?

PGM ASM 238 Canadian Edition
Pangolin replied to Pangolin's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
The lowest I would it be is 6.5 because FN + is an above-average collectible with a major defect and some smaller defects, or a significant accumulation of small defects. I will put it on ebay for sale and use an Authenticity and Grade Review by CGC. So we will know if we are below or above 6.0. -

PGM ASM 238 Canadian Edition
Pangolin replied to Pangolin's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Thank you all for your time. Any kind of writing is negligible? Is a date on a newstand edition treated differently than someone who has written his name on the comic? Is the size of a writing taken into consideration? -
Me again... This time with a "rare" newstand canadian edition of ASM 238. Besides a grade, I would like an answer to these two questions : 1 - How much does the defect on the upper left corner (the black box with the little Spidey) affect the grade? How many points do I loose because of this? 2- What about the writing on the back cover? Thanks for sharing your expertise and improving my knowledge!

My guest was between 6.0 and 6.5, thank you all for your answer.
-
Thanks again for your help!
-
Me too! Much more pleasure reading them than PPSSM.

Dont worry, I will not ask for a grade for my entire collection. After a nice bronze age and a modern age. I need your advice on a silver age. Thanks in advance for your time
-
Thank you both for answering my request. I am glad to know that I was wrong by grading it at 9.0 at least.

PGM Amazing Spider-Man 129

It is a bit wavy -
For years, I missed four issues to complete my MTU collection : 1 - 7 -10 and 15. This week-end I bought :

I really think that this comic is a 9 at least. The corners are a bit blunt but this is not enought to downgrade to 8.5 What do you think? Thank you for contributing to my edification

This comic stayed 99,99 % of his life since 1988 in a dark and dry place. I think this is why the colors of the cover are still beautiful.
