Myself, I still drool over the ole 10 centers, and would probably buy some again if the timing and the book was right.  But, "actively collecting?"  Maybe not so much anymore.... I don't search daily as I used to.

Our Army at War #83 — 1st appearance of Sgt Rock, and perhaps the toughest Silver Age key. 200 blue labels on census, topped by a 9.0.  
This copy is somewhere down in the 2.0/GD range: cover detached at top staple, slight tear in one page. Color rubs on cover; overall general wear. Clean, readable, supple pages (I just did).

Good morning, Kevin...I'm not planning on marking the thread "closed" at any point. I'm  kind of hoping people will continue posting until we get to $25K at least...since the family  is in a lot of need. $20k was the number Carmen put on there because...well, she's never done anything like this before (thank G-d) and they are really humble, sweet people who keep thanking us every time I speak to her, or text. Even Mia sent a thank you when I bought something on the Amazon list. I think between the little one and the college expenses...that that number is pretty modest and the grandchild who is on the way very very soon, the more we CAN help, the easier this initial part will be for them...but it depends on what everyone here decides to do.
However long this continues, I'm very proud of our community response...I always am
What happens with these threads I've started, is after a time is that people stop bumping the thread and it kind of falls off the first page.  As I mentioned in another post, at that time I'll stop bumping it unless something special happens, but there is nothing to stop someone else from adding something even after that.
So hopefully we will get more interest even over this weekend. and then we will see if that continues.
