  1. Yeah, the single-most important comic book in the world and he refuses to answer the most basic questions about it.
  2. I agree. If Marvel could print exact replicas of pretty much everything they issued in the '60s, I'd snap up every issue. They would definitely need to have 'replica' printed at the bottom of every page. I'm sure they could do it, too. Maybe if the bootleg replica market gets too out of hand they'll be motivated to do so.
  3. Definitely. I'm becoming more and more hesitant to buy raw keys now.
  4. The unauthorized replica industry is really chugging along: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=replica&_sacat=73&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=73&_odkw=reokica
  5. He does, but there's no indication on the book itself that it's a replica. The unauthorized replica industry is really chugging along: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=replica&_sacat=73&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=73&_odkw=reokica
  6. Just for even more laffs, here's a guy in Brazil selling a Hulk #1 replica for $30, free post worldwide: https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Incredible-Hulk-1-Silver-Age-Replica-Edition/124328733847?hash=item1cf291ec97:g:DPcAAOSwaFFfOFVN He has others too.
  7. Yes, I WISH I could sell the dregs (i.e. 1990s books) of my collection for a buck a pop.
  8. I must come by and check next time you do that, in case you accidentally put the first 6 Hulks in there. And Action #1.
  9. There are always returns possible on eBay, whether the seller likes it or not. And what does he mean by 'as is' when there are no details or clear photos?!?
  10. Who knows what he could have done in the Marvel Age of Superheroes had he lived on?
  11. It's quite the lucky dip. A shame he's such an incompetent seller and didn't bother to put in the time to even barely research what he's selling.
  12. Oh, I have no intention of touching this... will keep my social distance!
  13. I asked him 2 days ago for the grade on that Action #1, and a photo of it, but no response. Why would he, it's only potentially worth $3million. The guy is either super-dumb/lazy or a scammer.
  14. Well, if this turns out to be genuine it'll be the buy of the century -- just for the Action and Hulks alone.
  15. Indeed.... That Action Comics #1 really is the elephant in the room though.
  16. In the interest of balance, this is probably my least favourite.
  17. Yep, very much liking that... is that a reprint, other than the cover?
  18. I don't know what issue it is, but the one where the cowpoke (one of the Kids) is drinking from a waterhole and a couple of gun-toting owlhoots are reflected in it. I think Kane was even on record as saying it's the cover he was most proud of.
  19. Who else thinks the FF logo/masthead looked the best on issues 1 to 13? From #14 they added the left-hand corner box, shrunk the logo and got rid of the price circle. And I won't even mention the g-d-awful '70s logos.
  20. Yeah, it's an understandable oversight, could happen to anyone.
