These are going to be VERY basic n00b questions, and I'm sure there is a pinned thread or link that I am just completely missing, but... I just did two SS event submissions, and these will be my first CGC submissions ever, and I had a couple of questions about shipping, to make sure I get everything 100% on my end.

    1. Where do I ship these to? There was no label or address with my packing slips, other than my own.

    2. What shipping company/service is recommended?

    3. Do I need to write anything special on the package for signature events?

And finally, I think I know the answer already, but let's see if I can save some dollars: 4. If I am sending in for two different signings, can I use the same package?

    1.  See https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/8272/mailing-submissions-to-cgc-headquarters/

    2. See https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/8324/shipping-collectibles-cgc/

    3. Go to the event at https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/events/ and click on the specific event.  There is a section on Submission instruction

    4.  I don't think so but you could post a question in the forum Ask CGC to be sure.

  2. Hi,  You could post photos of the books you have in the grading forum  https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/.  There are  some good people in that forum who will look at the photos of the books and provide their opinion of the grade for your books.  Based on the grade, you could then look at previous books (at a similar grade) sold on eBay.  This would give you an idea of the value of your books in order to see if grading would be worth it.

Based on the books and the defects you showed/described, I doubt it would be worth it as they are likely low grade common books.

I've dealt with Reese in the past through eBay, before I closed my account.  Never had a problem...great outfit.

I can't afford to buy/sell raw comics for grading...been like that for awhile.  When I wanted to buy new raw Modern's, my top to stores were Comics Elite and The Comic Mint.  If I had a problem with any of the books they sent me (and the problems were few and far between), they always worked with me.  There are other online stores I've purchased from....too many to list.  Lol.

Side Note:  Someone I haven't purchased comics from but has taken care of all my pressing needs since 2017 is 'Comics In A Flash'.  The owners name is Tony Starks...no joke.  He's on the boards as well.  He sells raws and slabs...I just haven't bought anything from him. (thumbsu

+1 on Tony and Comics In A Flash
