    I collect comic-related photos, and I'd love it if someone who has Captain America Comics #46 (Holocaust cover by Schomburg) could message me a photo of themselves holding the comic book. I'd like to print it out and add it to my photo collection! I have thousands of comic-related photos, and a pic featuring Cap 46 is at the top of my want list!

  4. PBA Galleries had our debut comic book auction on June 4th, and the sale was a smash, with 98% of lots sold and a number of record-setting results. Our follow-up sale on December 10th will feature EC, Pre-Code Horror, Silver Age Marvel, Misc. Golden Age, and key Undergrounds.  The sale will run 400-500 lots, and over 300 slots are already filled, so anyone with potential consignment items is encouraged to act fast.  

    Included in the sale will be dozens of EC comics, including some original EC art (most notably, a Johnny Craig page from CRYPT OF TERROR #19), numerous early Marvel keys (including AVENGERS #1, X-MEN #1, DAREDEVIL #1, many Lee-Ditko issues of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, etc. The sale will feature a fully-illustrated print catalogue limited to 200 softcover and 10 hardcover copies, and will be simulcast on PBA's website, LiveAuctioneers, and Invaluable.com.

    Back in 1965 I stopped collecting comics at the age of 15. When I got back into comics in the early to mid seventies and starting to attend SDCC, this picture was taken as I resumed collecting with an interest in science fiction but particularly Infantino's work on Flash and Adam Strange.

    Now I'm pushing 70 in a few days and wondering where the time went, but  it has been a fantastic ride. These old photos are a trip down memory lane. Thanks for posting them.
