  1. Yellow Kid, Native American, Ottoman Turk. Tintype, c.1896. Mardi Gras?? Super rare.
  2. Girl with skates and Yellow Kid “Dolly Tints” advertising cut-out. Albumen print mounted on card stock, c.1900.
  3. Comic rack, EC offices, 1955. Just after the Comics Code passed! There’s a copy of Seduction of the Innocent visible on the bookshelf. End of an era! I bought this rare snapshot from Ron Parker, publisher of early EC fanzine HOOHAH! - the photo had been Ron’s for about 60 years!
  4. Bob Sidebottom’s comic shop, San Jose, 1970s. Polaroids. Note the large chap scaring away women and children with issue of R. Crumb’s “Snatch Comics” 😂
