  1. Those are amazing!!! My iPhone display is small - are you holding Mars Attacks cards in the 2nd photo??
  2. Halloween scene: the Great Pumpkin. 3.5” silver print, 1960s.
  3. There’s a whole fascinating subcategory of Superman carny cut-out pix. Here’s another anti-Hitler one.
  4. Latest acquisition. Hasn’t even come in the mail yet - it’s en route from a European seller. Crazy pic! It’s a carnival cut-out photo, c. early 1940s.
  5. Serious bonus points for anyone who can identify the character or artist!
  6. I love this photo collage... the pic of Subby is from Avengers #4! Little did the anonymous collage artist know...
  7. I love 35mm slides! It’s neat to see the old black & white world in color...
  8. One of my best: Alfred E. Neuman before Mad, circa 1909. I bought this from a major collector of vintage Brooklyn photos. It’s the only known vintage photographic print of this image. Pre-Mad Neuman pix are one of my fave categories.
  9. I’m fond of the Olive Oyl subcategory! More pix, c. 1930s-40s.
  10. Popeye’s favorite dish. Photomatic, c. 1940. I traded a great non-comics snapshot to a major collector for this one!
  11. San Francisco Comic Book Co. owner Gary Arlington, 1976. I bought this pic from the photographer, Patrick Rosenkranz. This is where I made my earliest funnybook purchases as a kid!
  12. Bat-cake and bazooms, c.1990s. A bit modern for my collecting tastes but how could I say no 😂
