    Cool. It would not surprise me if you owned one of the few existing copies. I never seen any sales & I believe only 1 scan of a cover (2nd issue?). It would be great for an electronic version to be archived somewhere like the Internet Archive. I did discover that at least one fanzine appears to pre-date all of these. Gore Creatures 18 from 1970 has a double cover, both by WS. It would not surprise me if there was something that pre-dated this, it's just that the records are spotty at best.

    quite an improvement, I'd agree you got lucky. I'd assume the stain is still a little visible if inspected closely. Who did the cleaning?

    4.0/4.5. I have a 5.0 with a very similar long crease through the cover (it's lighter) & the rest of the book is pretty solid, so I think a grade or so below that.

    A little depending on how hard that crease is on the BLBC. Ignoring that, I see a 7.5 with upside if pressing could make that curled TRFC look better & take the edge of the spine creases. White covers are tough though b/c they can hide a lot, especially in pictures. That said, the white looks clean & bright, which is not always what happens

    8.0 maybe 8.5. The foxing/tanning is an issue & depends on where on the spectrum it falls. It's hard to see on inked areas, but that could be penalized. I don't see any creasing or other wear that would be a problem

    I was at 4.5. I can't argue with a 5.0 though given my GA history. Probably gets a 5.5 to hurt my pre-contest confidence.
