  1. Based on appearances, I expected the Hulk to grade higher than the Capitan America. Figured Cap would max out around 7.0. The Cap is the only graded copy out there & the cover was painted/modified by a Spanish artist Rafael López Espi. Steranko believes it started by tracing elements of his original cover since the original art was not available to be used. The Nick Fury is a beaut. taken out of an 8.5 1st gen slab & cleaned/pressed.
  2. I think that's a very generous 6.5 given the length of that crease, other than that, well within the margin for error for my picks.
  3. 5.5/6.0. Without the tanning, I'd have said at least 7.0
  4. There's a lot of...something all over the front & cover. Some of this looks like foxing & there appears to be a stain of some sort around EK's van jump mid-cover. Someone would have to be an absolute wizard to clean all this off & if it's foxing, it won't go away. Staples look rusty, and there's a fair number of stress lines. I think like 5.0/5.5. Maybe a miracle worker can get this to 7.0
  5. There's a lot of color-breaking stuff along the spine. Maxes out at 8.0, 7.5 possible. I don't see this getting into the 9s even with work
  6. 5.5 with a shot at 6.0/6.5 for a book from this era
  7. 5.0 max. I don't think c/p impacts the grade even if the BC looks nicer after. Not sure I'd submit this if it were mine. I've been sitting on a copy that's 6.0-7.0 range for as long as I've been CGCing.
  8. Really screwed up my plan to be consistently 1-2 grades off on every book for the enture contest by getting 2 bullseyes that time.
  9. 9.0 or better I think, albeit the color loss along the spine is harder to guess about.
  10. 9.2/9.4. The top corner appears to be art-related
