I am with you brother. thats what happens anytime the difference is nominal or subjective to a persons mood ,whim ...its that point of diminishing return that is being argued over case in point. when the grade was 8. 8.5 9 9.5 anyone with more then a few years in the hobby knew ..certainly we old school from the 70's

Capt , You and Andyfish are both right!! I would caution young brother to approach an auction like you would a Texas Holdem card game. Don't play with money you can't afford to lose. Case in point. I place a bid 3 days ago on an unread copy of Alpha Flight 1 . I went ahead an set my maximum knowing a book this nice looking would go. Hell I even PM'd for more then the 2 pictures stating I was preparing in case for a late minute bidding war. Not and hour ago I get a notice I won the book for $3 I felt so bad I PM'd the people that I would send an additional check since it is Christmas time and everyone counts on extra at least close to FMV and I was apologizing for rushing thru and hitting pay pay pay and not even catching it at first. I went on and on as we Texans are prone to do. after everything their response was "We will ship your comic tomorrow. Thank you for your purchase." The point is that with good items following all these very knowledgeable peoples advice, you should do fine, Hell! might even hit a home run...then again you could lose your shirt. And "My" experience selling just about anything for the most profit is the second half of April until may 28 after taxes and before school lets out - houses , collectibles, autos, horses, MC etc.

Someone had said that the book will show better on white , I also changing lighting and most importantly I cleaned the lens (was dirty) Now then , As someone suggested I retook some of the pictures after changing the background to white, changing the light source and cleaning the camera lens. These are the results

Hi Mat thanks for looking I am going to go get my camera and reshoot ...I dont think I am very good at that part. I went over the book with a fine cotton circle just to make sure no dust flakes before shooting. It just occurred to me besides lighting ... I did not wipe down those lenses. BRB ty for looking

I hear you brother , no offense taken at all. I been insulted by some of the us army finest over at Benning and Bragg. I know that I take bad pictures cause that light on the spine looks bad but RL spine looks perfect . the book was in protected case and never been opened Terribly sorry I didnt thank you for taking the time to look and respond. FYI I wont be disappointed... Ill keep going till I get it Oohaa! ty again

Hey brother ..great book I really think you are going to have to include more pictures . the back, spine good corners and if the book as been opened and does not cause a crinkle to do it I always do the center. this shows pages inside and staples as well. of course if there are any pages with damage I include those as well, Good luck with it either way
