I disagree completely, He gunned down his entire town of people at the end of last season (except the two henchmen). That's plenty of evil right there. I agree the show got soft last year in areas but it will be back this season in full force...I can feel it. And, I think the Negan All out War story arc is brining people back to the comic...2 issues a month for 7 months...new inker...smart move to garner interest again. The first 48 issues were the best most definitely but I think they are hitting a very cool arc in the story... Call me a speculator if you want but I really feel this comic has longevity. I LIKED all three seasons a lot. The part I didn't like was the last part of season three where you know who got bit. I'm sure I'll like season four a lot. Not my favorite show of all time ( 24 is) but it's a great show.

Did you see that movie? It was horrible on so many levels. I'm not sure people are hating zombies as much as just hating that movie per se. It was almost unwatchable. Of course he didn't see the movie, he's just going with the box office numbers. I saw the movie World War Z, as I don`t critique something I haven`t seen. In fact I saw World War Z the same day as the Lone Ranger. I took in a double feature matinee. I saw the Lone Ranger first and gave it an 8, then watched a boring snooze fest called World War Z and give it a two. The sad fact was though there was twice as many people watching World War Z that day in the theatre then watching the Lone Ranger! It's funny you should say that. As much as the Lone Ranger bombed at the box office, I've had a few people tell me it was surprisingly good. Conversely, there was alot of good press and buzz about WWZ and after seeing it I don't know what the hullabaloo was.....as best as I can figure it's all folks getting their panties wet over Brad Pitt. That movie was the worst zombie flick I've ever seen bar none. It couldn't suck worse if it were the vacuum of space. With all the positive reviews from the critics, wondering if "World War Z" will be nominated for best picture of the year?

Didn't know about GIIMP until now or I forgot about it. This seems pretty good and it's free. I'm going to download it tonight. Right now I'm just using the HP scanner software to touch up my scans but ImageShack has some touch up features.

The bubble is never going to burst. WD#1 in 9.8 will overtake AF15 in 10 years..Action 1 in 20. The TV series will stay on for 45 years and there will be several spin-offs..like the Walking Dead Simpsons...Walking Dead Hawaii Five-O..etc..

Isn't the 8250 an all-in-one printer? My came with an ADF but I'm not sure if that constitutes an "all-in-one-printer". Not sure if you can FAX with it since all I cared about when I bought it, is that it takes nice legal size scans for slabs.

If you go to the HP website, download the large driver bundle for your HP 8250. The bundle has its own imaging software included. As already said, the large driver bundle does slow down the speed of a scan (but not cripplingly so), but will produce awesome scans. Make sure you choose the 'Extreme' setting in the final step before you start the scan. Speed over Quality: Quality wins everytime. You're also able to resize scans, so you can match scans made on your Epson. I had already downloaded the HP scanner software but I forgot to mention it in my post. I found out from another thread "Photobucket Useless Thread" that Photobucket put a size limitation on your scans. I ended up using ImageShack and Imgur to host my scans. Much better now...Here they are in a couple of different sizes... They look ok for now.

I got my HP 8250 working with just the HP scanner software on my iMac PC I just bought a month ago or so.. HP 8250 Now the next scan..This was done on my Epson Perfection 1200U pc on my windows pc.. I want to make the HP 8250 image the same size as my Epson Letter size scanner. The 8250 image is so much smaller and dimmer...I guess I need Photoshop elements or some other scanner software that will work on an iMac.

According to the HP website, the 8250 is compatible with Macs and OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Here's the link. Great! I'll see if the instructions will work for my HP 8250! Glad you posted the link. (thumbs u

I just got my hp scanjet 8250 but I don't have any scanner software to use it with or does it matter? ArcSoft..but I don't want to pay $79.00 if I can help it.. Photoshop? Also I just bought an iMac so not sure what drivers I need but I'll do a google/bing search and see what I can find. I'll let you know when I actually take some scans.

I can't imagine WD#1 will be the modern equivalent of Hulk 181. I do think it will have pretty strong value when the TV show and hype are over with. $2500+ value??...That I'm not so sure about but then again, with all the graded copies of Hulk 181 floating around, I never thought a 9.4 copy would still be selling way north of $2000+.

Well...I'm in the market for a Legal Size scanner, so I'm going to buy a HP Scanjet 8250. Hopefully I can get the same type of scans as this. This scan looks great! (thumbs u My best advice is to download and use the HP software - it makes a HUGE difference in being able to control the scanner features/functions the way the software was meant to interface with the scanner. Using the Windows/Mac or other 3rd-party software to acquire/interface with the scanner won't produce the same results. (thumbs u Will do! Thanks for the info!

Dragon Tattoo has begun to pick-up. The sadistic rape scenes really helped kick things into post-GRRM gear. Wonderful. Another writer who feels that he needs graphic rape scenes to tell his story. Read the book and you will see why. I thought the rape scenes fit the story line quite well in this instance based on the main character Lisbeth Salander!

Im reading the Venus Series by ERB again for probably my 5th time. (thumbs u A Princess of Mars is one of my all time favorites. Love the whole John Carter series. Great stuff! Yes, me too..the Burroughs "Martian" series was AWESOME!

Also reading Legend by Gemmell. I'm liking it so far but some of the "contemporary" type dialogue is throwing me off a little. I liked "Legend" a lot.I haven't read any other's yet in the Drenai Tales series. I do have the next six books and one of these days I will read the 2nd book - "The King Beyond the Gate".

Is it as good as they say? Great in parts but dragged a little for me! I won't read the 2nd and 3rd books. Really Bizarre novel though! I did like it ok, just that there are better books out there to read.
