All the buying experiences I've had with MCS have been nothing but Stellar! Books look nice, well packaged and shipped fast. I like their web site. I'll be buying more from them for sure.

Wow, such nice accommodations. I hardly ever win anything on Heritage. That sky high commisson and sales tax makes it hard to win..Of course now everybody is paying sales tax not just folks in Texas.

Yes, inserting the book into the 4mil Mylar's is a bit nerve racking sometimes. I still like them and may switch from the Mylites2.

I sort of anticipated there would be a "bottleneck" on the server processing the flood of submissions so I started mine on Saturday but waited until Sunday to finish it up (That was almost a big mistake). I was actually thinking about forgetting all about it and just deal with the new rates and lower or no discount anymore. I scrambled and pulled some books and got it finally done early Sunday evening. I did experience some glitches on Sunday. I was fine on Saturday for the most part. Sometimes getting the books entered took a little longer for the drop downs to show and a couple of times, the book never got added to the Cart. I do anticipate TAT to increase quite a bit.

It was bad enough Sunday night. Took a few tries to get my submission completed. No telling when they will fix the crashing.

Well, I'm having a very hard time finding one in "any" condition......just kidding....Yes, I can't believe what this book is going for. I have a copy in 9.8 but don't need the money right now. Surely the value is going to drop like a rock but who really knows? Just insane leaps in prices paid for within the last year or so.

Well, if you want to get the 15% discount for a year, today is the last day to join or upgrade to the Elite membership under the current membership features OR Join or upgrade to Premium membership for the 10% discount today. If you wait to join/upgrade tomorrow onward, you only get 10% discount for Elite. No discount for the other membership types.

This time I sent in 25 and used two boxes and put those two boxes in a bigger box. I just dropped my 25 at the Post Office a little while ago. Now I just hope they get back to me before we colonize a moon around Jupiter.

I use Silver/Gold Mylites2 and Fullbacks. Actually the book is pretty loose in the bag to me anyway. So most folks here do not store your books upright in a box like you normally see? You lay them face down in a box one on top of the other rotating the spines? I do this for some of my books because I need more acid free boxes. I actually prefer the 4 mil Mylars and may switch back to them.

I was able to create my 750,000 book submission just fine.... Actually it took my 25 book Modern submission a few tries before it "finally" made it thru the process. Mailing them off today. I may do one more modern submission tomorrow. Jeez, what a huge price/discount change they made this time around. I have a feeling TAT will double in length.

IMHYWO - Most of the time (not all the time) if you want a business to change, you have to affect their "bottom line". As long as the company is doing well and profits are increasing, there is little incentive to change things..i.e. faster turnaround times, better Quality control, etc.. Affect their "bottom line" and then you will see change. There is always a price point break. Raise the price of a Modern book to be graded a $500 - How many folks will send in their Modern books to be graded? I bet not much. Unless a large percentage of us submitters quit sending in books to drop their profits hardly anything will change IMHYWO. That being said, The price increases IMOYWO were to be expected. The market is pretty darn hot, so just like any business wanting to make more money, prices get raised. I'm ok with the price increases.......This time.

Time to send off some books before April 28th. I'll be sending some books this weekend. I was going to wait a couple of weeks or so....Not anymore... They will be in the mail this coming Monday.
