  1. Thanks for the info. I did call them yesterday and they stated they are little behind on ME's so it might take a few more days than normal. I'll just be patient.
  2. Yes, I had written "ME" on all sides of the package with a thick Sharpie. Let me call them again and see what's going on. Thanks.
  3. I have a ME submission (labels were swapped) that arrived at CGC on 7/28 but not recorded into the system yet. Might be a few more days after calling and talking to Support.
  4. I guess you can start calling her "Billion Dollar Box Office" Barbie now. Not my type of movie but will stream it on a site like Netflix/Amazon Prime...whatever shows it out of curiosity.
  5. 6pts this round and one bullseye. 2pts off on the Chilling tales and Doctor Solar
  6. I've got 2-50 of the Overstreet guide and a facsimile of #1. I quit buying it after #50 came out.
  7. 7pts this round.. Blew it on the first book - MP#100 but had one bullseye on the Strange Tales....I'll take it..
  8. 8pts but I did have a bullseye... I blew it on the MF book and the HOS book. AHHH! My ship is sinking after this round.
  9. Same here...I think I tanked this 2nd round bad. Tough 2nd round for me anyway.
  10. 5 points with one bullseye..I'll take it. Tough round for me anyway.
  11. Ahhh! This is what I was referring too. I was thinking shipping service point of view...like "What makes this book worth <insert high $$dollar$$ amount here>". I would think it's up to you to "prove" the book is worth X via GPA, other recorded sales etc...before you can collect. You still need to insure the book(s) or you have no chance at any monetary compensation.
  12. The thing I worry about with all shipping carriers is what "IF" something does go wrong in getting the books there. Damaged? Lost?(This seems straight forward and should be easy to get reimbursed)...Will USPS honor the insurance you paid for and reimburse you for your high dollar value books..ie. let's choose 20K as an example. Is it that cut and dry in filing a claim? (Now, I hope nobody has had to do this for a large amount like over $5,000+ ). I remember having to file a claim for a $100 book and I had to wait 3 months to get my money. Be it $100 or $10,000 is still just a 3 month wait for USPS anyway?
  13. Yeah...You would think it would be kind of hard to get these particular labels wrong..Oh well...life goes on. I'll call CGC as soon as the books arrive and confirm the wrong the labels.
  14. Looks like some of the books from one of my magazine submissions is going to back to CGC to get the correct labels put on. The books have been shipped and on their way by now. Here's an example....and there are a few more..
  15. Hmmm...Nice to now look at pics of your books. Unfortunately, it seems according to the pics some of the labels have been switched on one of my magazine submissions that's been shipped. Like this book as an example. There are a few more where the labels have been switched. I will have to return the books and get the correct labels put on.
  16. Saw MI:Dead Reckoning today and it AWESOME! The best MI movie EVER! Truly a FANTASTIC movie from start to finish! Best movie I've seen at the Theatre in years. I will own and see this again.
  17. I hope you have a great time there and get what you came for. Enjoy!!!
  18. I would love to go to SDCC "one" time just to experience it and soak it all in. Just getting tickets is hard and then like other posts have mentioned, the cost of getting there, hotel, food and transportation is expensive. Maybe I will just plan to go a few years from now and just save up and try to get tickets somehow and make it happen.....Just so expensive to attend....for me anyway.
