  1. I hope they can learn from this mistake. Consistency is important. If they have 3 graders inspect each book, perhaps a suggestion that they have multiple individuals inspect quality control of every book after each book is encased?
  2. Is this a mistake? Sorry I don't text (i still use landlines). Please review scans on the CGC certification board and let me know if this is possible to still be a 9.8. Thanks
  3. For reference: CGC Label certification # 4318799009. Note: NOT my book. I seen this book at a comic con show room floor. I find it difficult to believe that "THREE" graders looked at this book and gave it a 9.8. Can anyone examine the images on the label certification page and justify the grade? No one I have spoken with that has seen this book in person will give this book higher than a 5.0 tops (and that's being generous). Note that there is a crease in the top left edge of the back cover that would break color if it was not on white. Very dirty back cover with stains. multiple edge tears along top of back cover. Edge wear and staining along the front cover. And those are just the defects you can see in the scans. this book looks way worse when you hold it in your hands. Please share your thoughts. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks
  4. For $5, you can purchase imaging of your comic. For $5, you can purchase grader's notes for your comics. How about for $5, I can purchase guaranteed GRADER's NOTES for my comics that get below a 9.8? AFA offers to sell this service on action figures they grade. AFA even offers a detailed grader's opinion typed up about the condition of your graded collectible for a fee. CGC should have more grader's notes on comics. Is that 9.4 or 9.6 pressable to a 9.8? Grader's notes could reveal small defects that may not be as visible through the slab. On many comics, as any collector knows, the difference between a 9.6 and a 9.8 can double the value/price of a comic. Just look at a New Mutants 98 for example in those 2 grades on eBay. I would rather pay an extra $5 for grader notes as opposed to an image or custom label so what needs to happen to make this a possibility?
