  1. Anybody seen this item anywhere else for sale that ships to Canada? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Crimson-Guard-tee-t-shirt-GI-G-I-Joe-Cobra-S-3X-Retaliation-rise-t-movie-gi-/391494826011
  2. My understanding was that Fett was originally like a Super Trooper in which they turned around and decided to change him to a bounty hunter hence the Prototype bust statue in all white that was released at sdcc 2015. No idea where it came from that he was built around concepts of Vader. That is my understanding though. Base this off these quotes. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/star-wars-boba-fett-prototype-armor-sideshow-collectibles-1001361/ "In 1978 Joe Johnston designed an early prototype of the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, for Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. The original 'Supertrooper' design featured striking all-white armor and the first prototypes of Fett's trademark weapons. " Also the original armor was all white. http://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/scifi/star-wars-test-footage-reveals-boba-fetts-original-white-armor.html They do state in that video they where going to add colour to him.
  3. Yes...but it's this kind of chair. That reminds me of that mind altering chair in the Star Trek episode where wacky doctor brainwashes Kirk into falling madly in love with the girl he was with. Where do I put my beer? No drinking and driving!
  4. It was only a matter of time to the dispute of conflict of interests was brought up. As soon as I read whatever update it was about Nelson moving to head grader at CGC I saw it coming. Personally I think it was in the back of everyone's mind and think it was mentioned a couple times on these boards. That listed in that document as one of the complaints. I am no expert in law but I see that getting interesting. Mark who would have to prove their side on this part of the case the person making the complaint or the defendant?
  5. Just a not very impressive, yet highest graded, Second Printing. Ahh. Wasn't sure what you where trying to point out .
  6. + 1. I had a decent NES collection going. Once I heard about the Classic NES coming out I turned in all my old games for credit at one of the local shops. Glad I did now that the value is going down. Also nice to clear up some space. Cashed in my credit last week for some silverage X-Men Now where the heck can I find the Classic NES? Personally I would wait because if you look at how they did the Flashback, the system kept getting more and more games added so I would assume since they are saying same thing for the Classic that the systems would get more and more games as they release them. For example the Flashback 3 started with 60 games and now at 7 has 101 games (note though the flashback 6 only had 100 games). Based off that I see that happening with the classic and the system would get more and more games added as they released a new version. Why I didn't worry when I couldn't find the Classic right away. The ones I did find are like $200usd since resellers bought them up when they where $59.99usd. Anyways I would just wait and keep eyes open for the next one or get a later version.
  7. Its to bad that they have been releasing all these modern system basically lowering the value on some of this vintage gaming stuff. The rare hard stuff to find does retain its value from what I have been watching but the rest now is dropping very fast. With the release of the Nintendo classic which they have already confirmed they will be taking on the same model as how they did the Atari Flash systems which I think are up to number 7 with 101 games on it and also the rumour of them releasing a N64 version I have been noticing more and more collections coming on the market. It limits the pool of people now since while people want it for nostalgia purposes many just find it easier to buy these all in one consoles to get that old game play feeling. Also to point out just how fast the Nintendo classic sold out so quickly and near impossible to find unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for it so shows their is people that want it but they don't want the old system in which I have had conversation with people about this and it is based off the fact that this system will work and get them that old game fix while the old console had the issues of playing cartridges over time. I think we all remember the myth of blowing on the cartridge (really it was the moisture from your breath on the contacts helping with conectivity) to get them to work or sliding them in just a certain way and pushing them down to make the contacts work.
  8. Yeah guess its a bit hard. It was Dial Tone. Just in shape. Basically modernized with higher caliber and upgrades such as sights and such. If the stock was fully collapsed and I took off the site and flashlight and foregrip . It was the same when I did the hit n run since higher caliber, red dot, silencer and fore grip where added to that setup as well.
  9. Also think old Joe style vs modernized now with what we have as well.
  10. The moon is just so I can keep track of my mags and since I am a Moon Knight fan. Part of an other story line I made for airsoft. Guess it may be hard to guess since the stock on the one used by a gi joe is a bit different in the way it collapses. Also different caliber. Is 80's character though and I will say Joe side. When guessing just look at the shape vs the toy and similarities. This is how I had the hit n run but I also added a red dot.
  11. So for the fun of it. Who's GI Joe gun style you think I am trying to mimic with my airsoft rifle?
  12. Thanks. Have some people keeping an eye. Later numbers because of low printing are scarce it seems.
  13. Made you look! Anyways nothing new and exciting. Still looking for a couple books to finish my set but nothing here on the boards or my local stores. Nothing that meets my criteria on ebay either grrrr
  14. Not surprised especially when it comes to the modern ones. Lot of those books are $2-$4 in the longboxes so why pay $50 when you can get them cheaper. I see the hardcovers already be discounted as well usually around half price. Then you look at the arah reprints and while maybe the first and second volume is ok you can get the softcover for like $15 a volume and in certain numbers of the 155 you can find those original books at $2 a piece for decent quality originals and get it cheaper in the end.
  15. Tunnel Rat is based off Larry Hama so that would be cool.
  16. I setup a computer for a store once and played with the software collectorz and it worked for the most part for scanning in books.
  17. I went into a a friends store the other day and I was shown a book in the new holder in which I was told that all of the books where returned except this one since it didn't look bad. We talked about the newton effect and how I was like I even have that on my new phone when moisture/humidty is around between the otter box and the phone screen. It is natural but I find the stiffer the plastics the less the effect, We then proceeded to talk about the warping of the books and we discussed how this appeared over time and then I stated that the book they held back that they thought was ok was starting to show warping across the top of it so peoples claims of it happening over time is true. He took a closer look and was like damn. Regardless it happened and some people handled it better then others but a ban I think was a bit extreme on that guy since he had a valid case although he did go on and on and on and on and on.
  18. Found Marvel 2002 GI Joe trades 4 and 5 brand new. Was happy about that
  19. After we figure out what going on with Canada Post I am going to see if I can find the Bobba Fett prototype for a decent price. Think this Fett looks amazing and as I mentioned will fit in with my white Moon Knight and white Storm Shadow. http://www.starwars.com/news/gentle-giants-sdcc-exclusive-boba-fett-prototype-mini-bust
  20. I got to get to a joecon some day. Ive seen vids of the parachute drops and just be fun to watch.
  21. SS statue finally made it out of his box onto a shelf for display. Sneaky ninjas!
  22. Had these in their boxes and never displayed for years now. Finally moved and have more room so dedicated a shelf to busts. Think I also want to get the Bobba Fett prototype bust that has him in all white. Think he would fit in. May get a Soundwave as well from Transformers eventually.
  23. Ones in red are the ones I need better copies and ones in black are the two I need. The ones in yellow highlight I have. Store I went too today is checking their back inventory which they have been pulling out slowly and how I got the 154. They are expanding their store for more stock so slowly getting more stuff out. I have a feeling they will have what I need and will know in a week or so. They also looking for the 3d ones and the european. Then I will move onto 2nd and third printings and the special #1.
