  1. Sounds like a thread for Comics General...pictures of your empty attic and basement, followed by many responses. Hopefully since they went to HA first, they had the forethought to take pictures before sending to CGC. Although I suspect with the potential damage done before slabbing, we'll never see the before pics.
  2. I am a poor fisherman. If I'm lucky, a good year is 3 nooks to bring home. But always happy to join others and learn.
  3. You want the prime fishing spot, then you camp. The Nehalem is great as you can practically fish from your tent. So many people with so much money will only buy from Heritage. I'm not sure why, for the most part, there's always another book...eventually.
  4. I remember the small the first time I owned a Church book. That's why I'm curious about this new collection. If I win one, it will be because I agree with the grade, so I can crack it out. (All the more reason I may take a trip to Dallas, plus, I have a ton of airline miles I haven't used in 18 months.
  5. Congrats. You need a group shot pic with the others from your sig.
  6. It's been lagging, for sure. I think there are enough collectors out there that recognize this as underperforming and will eventually catch-up.
  7. This should be fun to watch. https://comics.ha.com/itm/silver-age-1956-1969-/star-trek-1-signature-series-cast-signed-gold-key-1967-cgc-vf-85-off-white-to-white-pages/p/7244-86008.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515
  8. So, anyone planning a trip to Dallas to see them first hand? Even if I'm not a winner, it may be fun to see the books in person and watch the bids come flying in.
  9. This is changing. My non-tech savvy in-laws are now asking about Coinbase since it went public recently. Now at an all-time low. For record, I'm in agreement that there will be stagnation or correction on what are "blue chips" that had a run-up. The rest, there is the possibility for the bubble to pop.
  10. Started mid-90s. I personally thought they were more shills than actual web developers. But, what do I know, I'm not rich like they are. One of the companies I had vested stock in was acquired (but I left the acquired company before the acquisition) giving me pennies.
  11. I've been following this thread for all the fun. But, this just made me laugh, the sad kind of laugh one gets from similar personal experience.
  12. I remember when you first posted those Flash comics for sale. My thought at the time was I already have my full run of mid-grade Flash (105-350), why would I want something I can't crack out and read. Now I have neither.
  13. Well, I figure this is relevant because several of the comments are referencing comics.
  14. $1001 (Maybe the winner thought the the "other guy" that graded this was being harsh?) https://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?id=1470698
  15. Things seem to be changing. I know I saw a Flash 104 earlier this week. Now it's gone. (I wanted to compare it to the 1.5 that sold on Clink yesterday.)
  16. I only have one of two items in your picture...the same sheets. Congratulations!
