  2. Published: 1985 Iron Man # 193 Page 5 by Luke McDonnell (penciller) and Akin Garvey (inker)
  3. Same goal for me as last year: big splashy Marvel villain pages (70’s-early 90’s) at non-splashy prices. I’d like to pick up more Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe villain pages, awesome Fighting Fantasy original art pages from the first 21 books and some Garbage Pail Kids original card art from the original series. Also, if possible, some awesome Cracked Magazine art from my collecting days (mid-80’s to early 90’s).
  4. I got in an 11” x 17” Vega/Baroness commission by Luis Rivera: And here is the digitally colored version by Darrin Wiltshire:
  5. I got in this 9” X 11 1/2” Baroness commission by Steve Rude today:
  6. I just received this 9” x 11 1/2” Baroness commission from Steve Rude today:
  7. I got in 2 commissions today. The first one is an 8 1/2” x 11” Baroness piece by David Hahn (pencils) and Karl Kessel (inks/colors): Next, I got an 11” x 14” Vega by Brian LeBlanc (I love the cameo appearances by other Streetfighters he put in the audience!):
  8. I was introduced to his work as a college student through the Heavy Metal magazine and as a youth through the Heavy Metal movie. I admired his style and am sorry to hear that he is gone.
  9. I got in a long overdue 9” x 12” Baroness commission by Canadian artist, Shane Heron. I think the original package might have been lost in the mail (as he stated it was mailed out 2-3 months ago and the postage date on the package I received was 11/16/20) so I believe this was a replacement package:
  10. I got a couple of miscellaneous commissions from Johnny Segura to help support his most recent Indiegogo campaign. The first was Omega Red which appeared in his book: And Storm on the front of the sketch comic book (which was his choice of character):
  11. I got a couple of commissions today from 2 Italian artists. The first is an 8” x 11 1/2” Misfits by Giancarlo Caracuzzo: The second is a 9 1/2” x 12 1/2” Vega by Stefano Cardoselli:
  12. Man, I’d love to own that Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Death! That would be the ultimate villain in my Marvel Universe collection!
  13. Really? I missed that one completely. But then again, I used the search function (which was also awesome) to only focus on interior pages, splashes and covers. But thanks for the info! Now I’m curious who the artist was for that Baroness commission.
  14. I agree. I like not having to search back to find the pieces I would be interested in again and the addition of more art the next day was excellent. I didn’t buy anything because nothing presented fulfilled my criteria (late 60’s-early 90’s Marvel large panel pages with a focus on villains up to $1000) but it was cool browsing. Also, I didn’t commission an artist this time because I already have too many commissions pending, there was not an artist who grabbed me as a “must have” (tempted by Mike Allred but $1500 was a little too rich for me so close to the holidays) and I wasn’t really looking for any more at the moment. But it was still entertaining and a welcome respite during these times. I would also like to join the chorus of individuals thanking Bill Cox for putting this together again.
  15. I’m not one for cover recreations but I love cover homages so I commissioned Artboy99 to do an 11” x 17” color cover homage of Amazing Spider-Man #194 featuring my 2 favorite subjects, Vega and The Baroness: The original:
  16. My gallery of evil grew by 1 today with the addition of 1991 Doctor Strange #31 Page 30 featuring the first appearance of the Fear Lords (Straw Man, Dweller-in-Darkness, Nyx, Nightmare, D’Spayre, Kkallaklu):
  17. I got in an 11 1/2” x 16 1/2” Vega commission by Brazilian artist, Jefferson Costa:
  18. I got in a 7” x 10” Baroness commission by Rich Woodall today:
