Marvel Tales 96 is one of my favorite pre-code GGA covers.
Great MT trio!

My favorite skull cover.
Metro has the OA in their office. Apparently a relatively recent purchase.
So they're the ones that scored that! It was up in a Heritage auction and discussed some months ago. Iconic horror piece.
Yes, right by the front desk. Rob explained that they had an artist recreate the title which was missing from the OA. I was surprised that Stephen had never heard of the Zanti Misfits episode of the Outer Limits which this so clearly seems an influence for. He asked me if the SFX were cheesy and I exclaimed,"Of course, it was 50+ years ago!!"LOL!!

Agreed! Nothing quite says "I just conquered your planet" more than this Anderson cover of an alien foot stomping on the survivor amidst the war-torn devastation.
Couldn't have said it any better!! Thanks guys. (thumbs u

Had the pleasure of buying a nice precode from Don which arrived in one of the best slab mailers I've ever seen and very quickly for a transatlantic journey. Hope to buy again from him soon!

As a lifelong fan, this really pisses me the hell off.
I just want to bust into that production meeting and punch everyone in the throat.
Peace,
Chip

Story:
Two friends (who end up being Mr. Fantastic and The Thing), starts with them being really young. An event happens at 16 that changes them, instead of being superheroes, they are basically owned by the government and used as weapons.
So, basically, they're going to it up again.
Horrendous, why even pretend its the FF? Call it something else and don't waste our time.
