  1. This is another Daredevil 10 I have. Not as good as one graded here back in November, so looking to trade or sell. Staples have some moderate tarnish, but attached to all pages. Page color cream with some edge tanning. Complete. Thanks.
  2. "I am not an expert on restoration, It is the lower staple that stands out, both are off centered but there are not any extra staple holes so one would assume they were placed off center during the bindery process. The upper staple is discolored/rusted and the lower staple is clean." So if they were put in comic at bindery, how can one staple age faster than other unless top one exposed to more air/moisture. And how is that done without more tanning on top of comic or some sign of water damage there?? I think the lower one was replaced.
  3. Yeah that huge piece out does it in. 1.5 to 2.0 at best.
  4. The shadows on your pics make it hard to grade! But the use of a marker will bring it down quite a bit I think. First pic shows it is quite large and ruins overall FC art. Your second pic shows it goes through cover. Not going to get that marker out. 3.0 because of that.
  5. This thread is for grading comics..not identifying them!
  6. My first slabbed comic - early 2020 - had Newton Rings. I got it at MyComicShop and complained. They said I needed to contact CGC which I did. CGC offered to Re-holder it for that cost, but with shipping cost and my time too I decided the heck with it. Maybe someday. It really messes up the appearance of the comic - Journey into Mystery 122 a 9.0. Up until now (another 60 or so slabbed) I haven't got any more that had rings - lucky so far. But have about 50 being delivered soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
  7. Sorry Galen130, been away from boards for a few days. I can't answer yet, I don't have it yet.
  8. Great research Pantodude! BTW that UK #14 X-Men 8.5 CGC just went for $1320 (with the BP) on Heritage. Too much for me. It was a very nice looking 8.5. Much better looking than the #15 UK CGC 8.5 that went for $660. A #18 X-Men UK 7.0 CGC was a mere $159.
  9. I am confused.. Blumedgroup says since thy are rare and there is a resulting demand so now they are worth a lot But GetMarwood&1 says rare UKprice variants "aren't worth sh for that very reason. Near zero supply. Near zero demand!" If there is a low supply why isnt there demand?
  10. I'm thinking of early X-Men UK price variants (in the 5 to 30 range, 1964 to 1967) .The only thing different on the cover appears to be the price which is 10d instead of 12c. Thanks.
  11. Are UK editions of silver age especially mid 1960s, are worth the same as US edition?
  12. Spine wear, blunted corners, lots of spotting bottom of BC, a few on top. Also , not sure but staples look tarnished . 7.0 at best.
  13. A bit more than spin tics, some big creases there, that crease or scratch on bottom corner, BC and pages have sun shading or just tanning from age. Not sure CP would help much. 5.0..maybe 5.5
  14. Thanks, probably looked better in the scans or pics I saw before I bought it. It was ebay
  15. Hmmm..really thought this would rate higher. Is it the spine tics, which seem minor to me, that are dragging it down from an 8.0? It was advertised as a 9.0, which I realized it wasn't, but thought it was an 8.0.
  16. Another recent purchase. Like to see if you agree with what the auction house rated it as.
  17. I don't think that would get you a green label, but perhaps others would know how large a corner out of inner page would lead to that. If no green label and because of corner out I'd say 5.5 Universal.
