    There are a few small spine tics(e.g., by the Marvel Now in bottom left FC ), but some is artwork. I thought this was a 9.0 .

    This one is a lot newer and in much better shape than the Spidey 63 I just submitted.

    You can easily see most of the defects with this. Lots of front cover abrasion and creases, even a couple of stains. Back looks good..eh. What you can't see is the couple pieces of tape inside to keep centerfold in place.

    What did you see that the rest did not?? You got it spot on. Grader notes don't seem to even be worth the $5 they charge!

    I was ready to give a 5.0 until I saw AxeElf's opinion. I am not sure a centerfold detached at one staple will make it at 4.0, but if so then 4.0. That is a bad defect, but the front cover looks pretty good, yes it has creases and small spine tics; but still presents well so I'd still like to go 5.0

    Agree , looks like that stain (bad by itself) bled through..no way to get rid of that.

    Mainly because 2/8 = 1/4 There are also some more creases on spine and corners are blunted , back is pretty dirty. 7.0 as is ..CP might raise it all the way to 8.0

    Yeah, I figured it was a reprint but nothing on cover , or at auction I saw it at said anything about reprint. Cover and centerfold are well attached.

    Too bad about that corner crease 9/6 or 9.8 without it. As is 9.2 maybe 9.4.

    Sorry I do not have a scan or pic of the entire back, but the other corner is much like the back corner you see,no pieces out or big creases. Thanks. BTW.. Why does Sgt.Fury 89 have the same cover and appear to be the same book?? Check it out.

    Yes, it is a lot of effort ..and restraint when something you really want goes way over what you think is worth. Anyway it was advertised as a 5.0 So I did okay!
