  1. Press will help with those indents on FC and clean somewhat on back, but don't think that bottom right corner will clean out. Kind of a stretch to get to a 6.0 with that. 5.0 as is.
  2. Not water damage, may be from moist fingers but does not extend into pages.
  3. "Books can grade as high as 6.0 with a completely detached centerfold." Well then I'd say 5.5. Question: Is this one of those cases where slight use of tape to keep centerfold in place would be acceptable without lowering grade?
  4. Actually I thought I'd get lower! Just checking.
  5. Yes, also how is the bottom right FC corner. Can't see it in your pic. Assuming it is okay 7.0/7.5. That's pretty good for a signature.
  6. Large creases on FC corner, spine wear. Staples tarnished, but well attached. Paper cream to off-white. Thanks.
  7. Not familiar with Dust Shadows, but I suppose its discoloration due to dust accumulation?
  8. OK, can see something there now..5.5/6.0
  9. Wow..what a range here 4.0 to 7.5!! I stick w my 6.0..
  10. 5.5..if top left corner can be cleaned ..and back..then 6.0
  11. Given that there are only a few other problems like that blunted back corner I don't think these back cover tears would knock it down that far ..6.0?
  12. Another one I got in a group. I already had one, but it was far worse for wear. Thanks.
  13. With cover and centerfold detached and other defects I was thinking 3.0; but since its a Golden Age (or is 1937 Platinum?) it would get an "oldie bump" to 4.0.
  14. How many pages affected by water damage? Front looks pretty good, has a few defects and would get a 6 to 7 I think if back was good and no water damage. So if only a couple pages I think FC pulls it up to 4.5. If quite a few pages then 3.5.
