    Quite a bit of wear, cover edges look brittle, tear on BC and tan pages; but on good side pretty well attached with staples that are not rusty and no pieces out. 3.5

    Don't think I have seen such close ups of the defects before! Just a human eye (grader) would not catch that detail and you could get a 6.5 ... but its really a 5.5.

    I was going to say 2.5 because of BC, but then noticed how well attached cover is, even though staples have some rust. SO to me that bumps to a 3.0
