  1. Here's some more of my Heroes pick-ups. This one I actually got from June Brigman last year. I always called it my Vampirella Barbie because June did the Barbie title for Marvel. I had Bob Mcleod ink it as he's inked her Alpha Flight work. I think Bob MORE than did the piece justice. Last one for tonight I have another one to scan and upload also.
  2. A couple tid-bits I picked up at Heroes, I'll post the rest later because I'm beat from traveling Michael Dooney: This is a piece that I had Texeira do back in 08 and finally got him to watercolor it. He was giddy with himself with every brush stroke and Renee gave me one of those "should have charged me more" looks. Thanks Renee and Tex!
  3. Comiclink. I doubt there'll be too many more of these reaching this grade.
  4. Here's some new pieces: Vampirella by Ben Dunn Scans a little faint but it's Vampirella by Keith Pollard (I think I was just about the only person that didn't ask for Black Cat) Lady Death by Brent Peeples Great Vampirella by June Brigman Witchblade by Vo Nguyen Cave Girl piece by an artist who's name has slipped my mind. If anyone knows let me know. Generation M page Alpha Flight page by June Brigman and inks by Bob McLeod Elektra by Stuart Sayger
  5. Artist friend of mine named Andrew Mangum did this for me over the weekend. Full 11x17. He started it Saturday night and he had it ready Sunday morning.
  6. After acquiring my Vampirella: The Second Coming cover several months ago I started speaking with an artist represented by the same person as Jenny Frison named Erik Jones. Erik has done some work for comic covers but is primarily an illustration artist. Her had a Lady Death piece that I thought was just amazing and I asked him if he could do a Vampirella as a sort of "sister piece" to the Lady Death. I received the Vampirella today and I am just floored! While I was waiting for the Vampirella to be finished he contacted me and really felt that the Lady Death and Vampi looked good together so what the hell, I bought that one too! These two are rather large paintings at 18x30 Here are the two together:
