  1. this book must have been graded in the 1990s with that Gerber sticker. Grading was much looser. That said, I am way south of 7.5 given the right edge damage along the FC..... 4.5 (VG+) for me.
  2. 5.5 (FN-) The bindery tears/chips usually get a pass with otherwise high grade (9.0+) and peds. In this case, I think it brings the grade down for me. Otherwise, it would be in the 6.5 - 7.0 range for me. CGC is often much looser on their grading, so I wouldn't be surprised if this book got a 6.5 - 7.0
  3. I observed it a few years ago as I am into looking at miscut art along cover's edges (top/bottom/right) and how a spine roll affects front cover art - a full Subby left foot on FF6s are not a common thing as his toes are often cut off from what Kirby's original art must have shown. It's a subtle detail but I love the cover so that detail is fun to find.
  4. 1.0 ; and it will likely detach in the handling process which will not affect the grade for me - it's a 1.0 attached or not and slabbed it won't matter (eye appeal wise) if the covers are detached. Four large, thick cardbard (make a sandwich) pieces taped down on all for edges will do it - then slide that in a sturdy tight box - then bubble wrap that and place that in a larger tight box - that should secure it.
  5. Distribution timing will always vary region to region and newsstand to newsstand, but Action 12 may have hit the stands a few weeks prior to Tec 27. http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/newsstand.php?type=calendar&month=4&year=1939&publisher=all&sort=alpha&checklist=null&variantex=null&collectionex=null
