    The previous owner said the book was originally a 6.5 that was sent back to get a "new" label. CGC mixed up and put in a 6.0 by "accident" , so it will be back into a 6.5 (or maybe better )...it's definitely nicer than 6.0

    Good for you, Ben (great pages on that copy too!) Thanks Guys..This book is more like 4.5. CGC was tough on it...plus, the colors are BLAZING compared to the scan...Nedors are so cheap compared to Timelys And the Schomburg war covers are killer...

    When I was working on my FF run, it took me a long time to find a 17 that I liked. I think I ended up with a pretty nice 6.5. Yea, it's funny how some books you have better "luck" finding in grades preferred or w/out certain defects...like I try to avoid Marvel chipping as patience will bring you any SA Marvel under 9.0. Oddly, in 16 years collecting, this is my first FF 16.
