  3. Process colors over primary gave it a pulp look. That pinkish box is so unique.

  5. nice pics. I don't think I have ever seen a real photo of a Marvel 1 on the newsstand...that might be lost to time...
  6. Goodman, Jacquet, and a few Funnies, Inc artists in their prime years during the early years of Timely Comics.
  7. Quite possibly Goodman’s first ad for Marvel 1 in one of his Red Circle Pulps (Oct, 1939).
