  1. 2 Value books: Recieved at CGC on 7/2 and sent to CCS. Marked Recieved by CGC on 9/8. Scheduled for Grading 11/20 Grading/Quality Control 12/1
  2. Any advice for buying the biggest keys? I'm in the market for a low grade #1 and I dont even see copies available aside from some on ebay at dumb prices.
  3. I had a Amazing Spider-Man 121 that I thought was 9.6 possible 9.8 after a press. It came back as a 9.2 with a staple tear as the grader notes that I know wasn't there when I sent it. My didn't bother to take pre-submission pics so I chalked it up to a learning experience and don't forget to do that anymore.
  4. That'll be Copy 2 for X-Factor 24 since the other was explicitly claimed. All yours!
  5. Quick sale - next 24 hours 10% of remaining books. After 7PM EST tomorrow, everything is moving to ebay.
  6. Bought some Spider-man books through VCC - everything was graded correctly and well packed. Thanks again!
  7. First Sales Thread on the boards in a LONG time. I'm trying to turn these into some early ASM issues for my run. Da rules: Paypal Goods and Services for payment. No returns on slabbed books. Payment is expected with 24h of claiming a book unless we've arranged something prior. Claiming in the thread trumps PMs. Shipping is $10 for one book in the USA (no international shipping - sorry!). Happy to combine shipping - ask for a quote. Happy to answer questions, provide more pics, etc. Will also entertain offers.
  8. Quick question amongst all this drama... It's been like a decade since I sold anything on these boards, but I want to sell a few CGC'd books in the near soonish timeframe. Is there anything I can do aside from obvious things to make people comfortable buying from a 'newer' seller? And because it's not always clear, I consider following rules, shipping well, and not being a jerk the 'obvious' things:-)
  9. Just got my first big batch of books back. I learned alot from this submission.
  10. I sold all mine for $50 each because I thought it was done going up after the first season
  11. I dont have a fancy scanner, so a photo will have to do. I submitted 25 books in June and this is the first one back.
  12. To close the loop on this, I did call and ask them to make to note to verify printing. When it went to Grading/QC, it was marked as a 1st print.
  13. Thank you! This was super helpful. I found a picture of my book before I sent it and its 100% a first print.
  14. I meant the interior front cover where the printing is noted. I can only figure that I wasn't looking in the right place.
