    Does anyone have any information on how to tell a counterfeit of later issues? I recently picked up a nice number 2, but some comments from the shop owner made me wonder about it. I found the neat thread about the differences in printings of issue one, but couldnt find anything on counterfeits, especially of #2 and later. Thanks!

    I nabbed the 8.0 savannah in the heritage auction last night. I think this is a rather underrated book, given that zod is the 2nd most recognizable superman villain to the general public, his role in the next movie, and the general scarceness of these in high grade. Glad to add it to my collection.

    I'm thinking of buying entry to this club. From a little research, it seems like I could get a decent low grade copy for about 2k, or even a restored mid grade copy for that price. I don't currently have GPA, but does that sound about correct these days?

    Just found this thread - love it! My earliest comic memories are buying 3packs at TRU. I may have look into acquiring more of these. Are there any concerns about keeping these books in their original plastic for so long? Definitely not archival. Also, how do you that collect these store them?

    I picked up some nice stuff at The nashville show last weekend - Animax, Air Raiders, Bullwinkle and Rocky, Peter Porker, Chuck Norris, and some Smurfs (not Star, but close enough) in HG out of $1 boxes. Twas a good haul
